Pancious is the basic family go to restaurant, honestly. It's affordable, and the flavor's not all bad. Their dessert pancakes and waffles are definitely great, and so are their savory ones. There's just this one time where I ordered their blue cheese pancake and realized that blue cheese just isn't for me. Their pasta is definitely not the best, but still worth it. I usually go with their gnocchi chicken pesto, or their other creamy based pasta, but just recently I ordered their arabiata cow tongue pasta, and the tomato based sauce was ok. Me, being a fan of cow tongue, didn't mind the meat at all because I think that they did a wonderful job in slicing and grilling the tongue, but my mom hated it saying that the beef smelled bad.

Oh wow. The beef ribs here are something to die for, and if I was forced to eat this the rest of my life, I would. Let me just start with how tender the meat is, and how easy it is for you to bite down into it. The peanut sauce was also very hearty and flavorful, which suites perfectly with the tender ribs. You're also given a small bowl of soup (which I believe is beef stock) which is also a blast of flavor. It was very savory, like you just slurped in a whole night's worth of beef boiled in a large pot, which I think is the answer. Overall, a very wonderful culinary experience that no one should ever miss.

I came here only to try out their mazesoba. Lemme say this, this is one hell of a unique ramen. No broth at all, short thick noodles, and a load of toppings. The experience of chowing down on this bowl was a memorable one. You had to mix the noodles with sesame and chili oil in exchange of the broth, and it just brings out a new set of flavors. The dish makes you real thirsty, because it's greasy, and there's really not much to it if you don't add quite the amount of chili oil, but the toppings helped pile in some flavor. Overall, it was a hearty meal because so much was going on in your bowl, mouth, and stomach. I personally don't considered this mazesoba a favorite, because I prefer to stick with classic pork ramen, but it's worth a try.

Out of all the korean bbd restaurants, this place is one that my family frequently comes to. It is hella pricy, that's for sure, but the flavor's high end as well. I don't have much to say actually, apart from the food being pretty good. Their japchae would probably one of the best ones I've tasted, and I also love their seafood kimchi jjigae. I have no complaints on the bbq at all. One problem I have would be the lack of variety in the free side dishes, and the very small plates of raw vegetable wraps they serve us. Apart from that, all is well.

Duck. I love duck. This particular duck was pretty ok. It was real funny to see my duck served on top of 2 slices of fruit, but I just went with it. First of all, the duck wasn't fatty, and it had a texture similar to that of a chicken. The frying, however, was crispy enough. The 3 different sambal was also okay, and I should remind you to use all 3 when you eat. Interior was above okay, because I loved the balinese ambience. It was flawless. Now, if I were to compare this to bebek tepi sawah, bebek tepi sawah has fattier and crispier duck than be ek bengil. Their sambal and long beans are also spicier. In the end, which place you'll like will depend on your tastebuds, but I still prefer bebek tepi sawah over this.

I love rice and meat, and halal boys is such a wonderful combination of the both. I personally love the whole thing. First of all, rice was spot on. Rather hard, but i like it that way. I don't eat lamb, but the chicken was fine as hell. What made it so special was the chilli and white sauce, and I love both. You would expect the white sauce to neutralize the spicy, but noooo. I mixed everything in and it was still awfully spicy, just up to my taste. I've eaten their rice dish about 3 times now, but I never bothered eating in their booth. Always took take out, because it was just too hot and humid to eat there.

The flavor was pretty good, and everything was up to my taste. I would say that it's quite pricy for the amount of food I got, but everything else was ok. They even had finger naps for us, and that was something. I didn't really like the interior, because it seems as if none of it was thought out properly, but the food was fine.
