    BEST. THAI. TEA. EVER.

    Why you will love it:
    1. Their food! Also their Thai Tea is the best I've ever had in Indonesia. Consistent. Same as the one I've had in Thailand. Here's what I had:
    -Thai Tea: I cannot emphasize this enough. Get their Thai Tea. It's the best Thai Tea in town. You won't regret getting it. Tastes quite strong but all the elements are well balanced. I once visited just for the tea because when you miss someone, you don't say I miss you too. You say, so when can we meet? That is exactly how I feel about Iced Thai Tea.
    -Pad Thai Shrimp: This is a sweeter type of Pad Thai, but balanced out with the sourness from tamarind. So if you like your pad thai more savoury than sweet, ask them to reduce the sweetness a bit. Also, great pad thai texture.
    -Mango Salad: This oneeee. Reminds me so much of Thailand. The sauce, they do it well. As I write this, I kind of regret writing this because now I just crave it even more and I need to go back for this Mango Salad. Balanced sweetness and sourness. The mango is not too sour but just enough so it's very refreshing.
    -Pad Kee Mao: There is only a very slight hint of basil. It tastes good, but it's not something you have to get. Not my cup of tea. However, they are very generous with the chicken here. So if you like lots of protein on your noodles this might be for you.
    2. Great service. They are kind and attentive. And in the end when you pay, they ask what could be improved. That is so nice because that means they value your feedback.
    3. Lots of parking space, so this will not be a problem.

    What could be improved:
    They only have one branch in Alam Sutera, so if you're in the area and you want Thai food, go here.

    Banh Banh [ Kuningan, Vietnam ]

    Why you will love it ❤
    1. The portion is quite generous, the protein and the vegetables. Especially the coriander.
    2. The baguette is good. Somehow if you let the bahn mi sit for 2-3 minutes before you eat, the sandwich tastes even better and the baguette has soaked up all the juice. I know it's tempting to eat it on the go, but give it a try.
    3. Sweet caramelized beef for me is the best because it goes perfectly with the buns and vegetables. The beef black pepper is also good but the black pepper spiciness is too much for me and it takes over the spotlight of the vegetables which should also be the highligh of the bahn mi. Chicken tumeric is okay.
    4. Make sure you order spicy for that extra kick, but not too spicy to ensure the balance of flavour

    What could be improved 🙏
    1. More branches please. One branch is not enough.
    2. Chicken teriyaki tastes more like curry than teriyaki, not the best because the flavour overpowers all the element and the pickled carrot and coriander's flavours are lost as a result.

    1. I ordered this using an online ojek app, so do not know the service and how the ambience of the restaurant is but the food is good! Love the chicken wings here, my ultimate comfort food. I usually order level 1 because I like to enjoy the taste without the pain of extreme spiciness.
    2. Besides the wings, I also really like the potato wedges. Because even though the wings I order are just level 1, it still has a bit of kick to it which is what the wedges is for. A sweet flavour profile to neutralize the crazy spiciness of the wings.

    What could be improved 🙏
    Not really an improvement, but a suggestion. For the combo menus, would be nice if there was an option to upgrade the drink to a regular soda as opposed to tea/pink lava. Because I think wings go better with soda.

    1. They have good protocol during the Corona period
    2. I always look forward to eat Gao Zi if I come here
    3. They always make the nasi goreng ikan asin right, in every outlet
    4. Reliable taste on every outlet
    5. The combination of kungpao and kailan dua rasa is divine with the nasi goreng
    6. Always love their vast tea selection and how affordable they are

    What could be improved 🙏
    1. More options for vegetables that are more affordable
    2. Most of their dishes quality and taste are consistent in every outlet, but sometimes their Gao Zis are overcooked, would be great if they pay attention to it more
    3. Please serve the chilli oil without us asking, and refill before serving it to us, because they always run out somehow!

    1. If you're looking for both comfort, clean and delicious array of seafood, Grand Ni Hao is a halal Chinese restaurant that needs to be your go-to place!
    2. I really thought the Kepiting Soka Lada Garam and Udang Goreng Telor Asin was the star of the show, your tongue palette will dance around how generously seasoned, pleasurably crispy and yet soft texture of the crab and shrimp still plays a special role. What a party!
    3. Make sure to order Kerang Tahu Saus Singapura - this is our first time eating the softest tofu, every bite was so addictive, we couldn't help eating for seconds, thirds, fourths...
    4. Comfortable seats and ambience with a very satisfying service. The waiters were very quick to respond and polite.
    5. Best place to bring big family for nice seafood meals and delightful friendly service.

    What could be improved 🙏
    1. Ayam Goreng Bumbu ala Nihao's meat was a bit too dry, and a bit hard to chew, though we really love the Indonesia's traditional chicken seasoned twist. If it would be possible to please make the chicken a lot more tender and soft, you'll have the best tasting chicken!
    2. The Chinese tea was a bit too strong for our taste, would be better if they provide alternatives.
    3. The Kepiting Soka Lada Garam's fleshy meat could be more abundant, but taste-wise, very satisfying.

    Especially the volcano cheese buldak. Just the right combination of spicy, sweetness and gooey cheesiness. Level 1 is already quite spicy, so if you are not too into spicy stick to level 1.     Cutt & Grill [ Tebet, Barat ]

    THE STEAK IS GREAT, THE NACHOS ARE EVEN BETTER.

    Why you will love it ❤
    1. If you see nachos in the menu. You see it. You like it. You buy it. The portion is super generous. There is plenty of meat, sour cream and avocado so all the nachos gets the dipping. I even preferred the nachos more than the steak. The meat also tasted gooood.
    2. The strawberry mojito is awesome. Super refreshing with the soda but the strawberry and mint makes the flavour pop!
    3. Steak is flavourful and juicy, they cook their steak just right! The grilled corn also tastes lovely it is super buttery. The steak has butter on top but weirdly enough, I do not really taste the butter. But with that being said, the steak was well-seasoned!
    4. If you like cincau hitam, order the es cincau hitam. The portion is super big, you will be impressed by the size. Taste is similar to your typical cincau.
    5. Carbonara with rib eye has quite a good flavour. It's creamy and the texture of the pasta is just the perfect al dente. My kind of pasta!
    6. Generous portions! We were so full after dining here.

    What could be improved 🙏
    1. I wish their barbecue sauce was more flavourful. Don't get me wrong, still good! But a more distinct barbecue sauce would have been better.
    2. Personally, I do not really enjoy the creamy mix mushroom, does not taste creamy at all. I guess I ordered the wrong sidedish for my steak. You could say it was my mis-steak :')

    PappaJack Asian Cuisine [ Kemang, Kafe ]

    SAMBAL CUMI AND CURRY LAKSA, YOU'RE A STAR.

    Why you will love it:
    1. The overall food flavour, here's what we had:
    -Curry Laksa
    Greatttt. The bowl is generously filled with tofu, beansprouts, fishcake, chicken and even clams. The broth is beautifully balanced, savoury and sweet and just the right richness so as not to overpower other ingredients. If this curry laksa were a boyband, all the ingredients shine through. No one is there just for the sake being there.
    -Sambal Cumi
    Shout out also to the Sambal Cumi. It's nice that we can order a portion of only sambal cumi (3pcs of squid). Because one is not enough. The sauce is just spicy enough to keep you coming back for more. But not to the point of numbing or hurting you. Squid is nicely cooked. Also comes with little anchovies that is a nice addition to the flavour of the dish.
    -ABC
    Portion is super generous. Order with a friend or that special someone. Seriously, that's a lot for dessert! Good thing is, it actually is good.
    -Spicy Chicken PappaJack
    They weren't kidding when they said it's spicy. Do request them to town down the spiciness a bit because personally while we enjoy spicy food, the spiciness was overpowering. Was it good though? Absolutely. The leek gave that additional layer of freshness flavour profile and chicken was crispy. Next time will go for the Ayam Kluyuk though this is a tad bit too spicy for our taste.
    -Teh Tarik Ice
    If you go to PappaJack and don't order their Teh Tarik, it's like "healing in Bali" and not going to the beach. Teh tarik has a nice strong flavour which again, is balanced with the right amount of sweetness. Kind of like your favourite person's smile.
    2. Super attentive and kind service. The team was patient and gave clear explanation if you want to ask more about the menu.
    3. Plenty of seats.

    What could be improved:
    I am also a big fan of their nasi lemak. But I think their nasi lemak protein to rice ratio could be improved. So I wish that their other menus (Spicy Chicken, Ayam Kluyuk) are available separately without rice.

    Tteokntalk [ Bintaro, Korea ]

    Tteokbokki with cheese super!

    Yang membuat Tteokbokki enak bukan sausnya yang rasanya lembut, bukan ricecakenya yang kenyalnya pas, bukan fishcakenya atau kejunya yang super melimpah. Tapi kombinasi dari semua rasa yang berpadu dengan harmoni indah. Bulgoginya juga enak jamurnya generous dan rasanya lebih ke arah manis dibanding gurih. Gyeranjjimnya agak kurang, biasa banget. Mending beli menu lain aja.

    SGD The Old Tofu House [ Pondok Indah, Korea ]

    1. You can taste a nice flame broil of the dish in every bite.
    2. The portion is super generous! I felt the Dolsot Bibimbap was like a never ending soap opera (in the best way possible) because the portion was big it just goes on and on and on. If you do not feel like ordering plain white rice, go for the bibimbap, great value for money. The octopus flame broil portion is quite large, enough for 2 hungry people, 3 normal people or 4 people with several sharing menus.
    2. The kimchi was good and I also enjoy the goguma bokum (the bancan was free).
    3. The corn tea flavour is quite strong, which I absolutely love.
    4. Great service! I visited the place during a full house but their service was still great. The waiters and waitresses were super friendly, helpful and attentive. They refilled our ocha without us asking.

    What could be improved 🙏
    1. For the Dolsot Bibimbap the beef was a little too fatty. Plus the protein to rice ratio could be improved. That's why I suggest if you get the bibimbap, make sure you order another protein!
    2. It would be nice if during ordering the waiter/ress would ask whether we would want the egg fully cooked or with a bit of that runny yolk action.
