    PLUIE Cafe & Resto [ Kemang, Kafe ]

    Makan, sambil bermain!

    Yesterday, I went to Pluie Cafe for the very first time. I’ve never heard of it before. Surprisingly, tempatnya sangat nyaman, strategis, dan family-friendly! Pluie Cafe sediain menu yang cukup besar, dari pasta, fish and chips, rice bowls, sampai makanan Indonesia seperti soto dan nasi goreng pun ada. Lengkap!

    Luckily, I got BUY 1 FREE 1 by claiming coupon from PergiKuliner. Aku ke sana di hari Sabtu bersama pacarku, aku memutuskan untuk pesan Spaghetti Aglio Olio sebagai gratisannya dan pacarku pesan Chicken Steak. Dilengkapi dengan minumannya yaitu Jasmine Green Tea dan juga Lychee Tea.

    Serunya, Pluie Cafe sediain beberapa boardgame dari Monopoly, Scrabble, SOS, sampai kartu remi juga ada. Jadi kita nggak akan merasa bosen untuk nungguin makanannya datang.

    Here’s some of the menu:
    - Spaghetti Aglio Olio (7/10)
    The aglio olio was served with 2 tasty shrimps. However, I have tasted many portions of Aglio Olios before and this one was so-so for me. The portion was pretty small, won’t fill up my big tummy. There were not enough amount of garlic in it. To me it was underseasoned. The spaghetti was somehow chopped? The pasta was really short so that it was hard to eat it with a fork.

    - Chicken Steak (6/10)
    It was served with a chicken fillet coated with bbq sauce, mushroom gravy, bunch of french fries and side salad. The chicken was dry, but the gravy, french fries and side salad was OK. BUT there was a hair in it so I give it a 6 for hygiene.

    - Jasmine Green Tea (7,5/10)
    I expected it to be more tasty, I couldn’t taste the jasmine. But it was refreshing.

    - Lychee Tea (8/10)
    It was great, lengkap dengan buah lecinya. Ditambah gula cair yang bisa kita atur sendiri banyaknya.

    Overall, the food and the service was OK. The board games made it fun because I ended up playing the Monopoly for hours!

    Pan & Co. [ Pondok Indah, Kafe ]

    The pancakes were as light as the clouds!

    It was actually my second time I went to Pan & Co and loved the both times. Pan & Co terkenal banget dengan Japanese Fluffy Pancakesnya yang light as the clouds! Beberapa hari yang lalu, aku ke sana bareng pacarku untuk makan karena laper banget and we bought 2 main courses & 2 sweet fluffy pancakes. Terus, karena claiming a cupon dari aplikasi Pergi Kuliner, we got 2 free drinks by purchasing 2 portions of sweet pancakes!! What a deal.

    Here’s some of the menu:
    - Kari Kari Ebi (8/10)
    I’m a big fan of curry and as soon as I saw the curry rice on the menu, I immediately chose it. Kuah karinya menurutku kurang thick but it was great (taste wise). Unfortunately, I was hoping that they have a chicken katsu curry rice on the menu but instead they only have ebi which wouldn’t make my belly full. The ebi tasted pretty good tho.

    - Apple Day (8,5/10)
    The pancakes was fire! I love the combination of pancakes, cookie crumbs, a scoop of vanilla ice creams, (I guess it was) a scoop of whipped cream, and apple compote! Well to be really honest, I thought the apple compote would taste a little bit cinnamony (if that’s even a word) but no and that’s ok. The compote had the perfect amount of sourness! Loved it, not complaining.

    - Tiramisu Baby (7,5/10)
    Not a fan of coffee but I enjoyed eating it. Menurutku, rasanya jadi seimbang karena dipadukan dengan vanilla ice cream. I guess for those who love coffee, you’d love to try this!

    - Beef Teppan Bento (7,8/10)
    A simple bento dish. From what I tasted, rasa beef nya enak tapi teksturnya kurang empuk & the beef was a little bit cold, idk why. So-so.

    - Sakura Blossom (7/10)
    Mungkin untuk kalian yang suka dengan minuman seger, asem, dan soda-sodaan, kalian akan suka! But personally, it was a no for me. Not a fan of soda.

    - Honey Lemon Tea (8/10)
    This one’s pretty great! Madu dan lemonnya bener-bener kerasa dan none of them overpowering each other. It’s a great combination, seger banget!

    Overall, the food was great & the service was top notch!
