Thai Alley in Menteng is a colorful restaurant in Menteng vicinity. Located in an office building, it has an ample amount of parking space.

The restaurant itself is quite spacious and quite full at lunch time.

I had their Pad Thai Wun Sen which is basically glass noodle with prawns, peanut and other worldly goodness. The sour and flavourful meal will be a great lunch.

Their mango sticky rice is also a great dessert. Creamy, sweet taste is perfect to complete your meal.

Vilo Gelato in Gandaria is one of the best place to look for gelatos with exciting flavours!

Their restaurant is beautiful with an aesthetic glass house portion on the front. They have a second floor and a spacious outdoor session.

Upon entering the restaurant, you will be greeted with a large refridgerator in which you can peer down and choose your flavour of gelato. They have the standard fruit flavor up to Baileys and Kahlua.

I chose their Bailey's Salted Caramel and a Smoke Beef and Cheese Croissant for breakfast.

The gelato was smooth and did justice donning the brand "Bailey's". Though it didn't take me sky high, having "Bailey's" flavoured gelato in the morning will definitely set a good mood throughout the day.

Hello Sunday is a cute restaurant in Metropole area, a perfect place to dine in while waiting for your movie.

Hello Sunday offers a variety of food including steak, pasta, burgers and many others, however I recommend that you try their desserts!

I had their classic waffle with pandan batter and es-teler-flavoured ice cream.

What came was a beauty! Garnished with popcorn and jelly, the plating was definitely on point.

The waffle was cruncy on the outside but soft on the inside. The ice cream managed to elevate the taste so much!

Hey #Tastebuddies!
It's been awhile since my last post.

Yesterday, Bon(d) spent a lazy day at J-city. We came across a cute pancakes parlour called Gram.

We had their beautifully plated Tiramisu Pancake, garnished with cinnamon powder blocks of chocolate.

The pancakes were soft and fluffy. On the taste departmen, they managed to find the perfect balance betweem the sweetness, coffee and cinnamon taste.

I arrived too early at Tangerang station. Most of the coffee shops and restaurant were'nt opened yet. Luckily, "Mie Keriting Manalagi" at Jalan MT Haryono, which was just a few minutes walk from the station, is ready to serve you the most flavourful Medan Style noodle for breakfast.

The place was quite spacious with a lot of tables. They also lit incense for praying at the small altar in the restaurant.

I ordered their "Mie Keriting" with mixed topping and "Liang Teh". The "Mie Keriting" came in a wide white bowl looking pretty.

The noodle's texture was perfect. Firm with a little "bounce" to it. The broth was very flavourful, the mixed topping tasted better than I had imagine. Combining all of those elements will guarantee a fulfilling breakfast!

The recently renovated Sarinah Building is a must visit building for you looking for a fresh ambiance. Though Sarinah has a lot of food tenants offering delicious food, Ny. Swan's Dapur Solo is one of the restaurant you must visit the first time.

The branch in Sarinah is not too spacious, however it does have a decent outdoor sections.

I had their Nasi Langgi Solo and a cup of tea. What came was an aesthetically pleasing dish cointaing a cone-shaped rice with fried chicken, beef floss, diced potato and many others

Overall, Nasi Langgi Solo was tasty!

Subway is American fast food joint offering sandwiches. As of last year, their first branch in Jakarta opened in Cilandak Town Square.

Subway is one of the go to restaurant if you're abroad. Their food is tasty, cheap and will be ready in a jiffy. It turns out, their counterpart in Jakarta offer the same quality.

I had my lunch in Subway Gading a few days ago. I had their Parmesan Oregano bread with Roast Chicken filling as the main source of protein, with an addition of salami and mozarella. I also had all of their vegetable option with Thousand Island dressing.

On the taste department Subway is winning. The roast chicken blends perfectly with the savory bread and crunchy vegetable.

Definitely a must try!

Lanell Coffee is a small coffee shop in Cipete. It seemed small from the outside, however the space goes deep inside, it even has a rattan swing in the outdoor smoking area.

Just like your typical coffee shop, it serves various kinds of coffee and munchies to accompany your lazy day.

I had their "Kopi Susu Gula Nira" which creaminess blends perfectly with the sweet taste.

For me, the atmosphere is what will make me return to enjoy a slow day.
