We ordered two different kinds of dishes... one is their kimchi jjigae with firm tofu and the other one is the combo meal where you can choose the soup and the main menu 😱😱😱😱 we choose the combo of LA Galbi Combo and Mix Sundubu soup ...
All of the dish is so good and worth your money! The sundubu (soft tofu) is so soft and the soup is so warm in the tummy 🥰🥰🥰 really happy when we left the place
Here we try new yogurt drink in Grand Indonesia @themoo.id , we ordered two flavours one sticky purple rice yogurt (Right) and one Yuzu Yogurt (Left). The signature menu 🥰🥰🥰 is the Sticky Purple Rice Yogurt, it’s a mixture of sweet glutinous rice with yogurt. The Yuzu Yogurt is a fresh yogurt drink with Japanese citrus fruits. If you like something a littl bit heavy I recommend the signature drink because they cooked the sticky purple rice perfectly and the sour notes from the yogurt really bump up the drink. But if you want something light I’d recommend the Yuzu Yogurt because it’s refreshing since the Yuzu has a sweet and sour flavour which helps to make the yogurt flavourful. if you’re saw this place near your area, I’d highly recommend 🤩🤩🤩🤩this place if you guys want to drink some sticky purple rice yogurt.
Fried chicken with extra kriuks 🤤! @padangexpress we tried their famous fried chicken 🍗! The chicken is super crunchy! Super savory, and smells super duper amazing! However, taste wise, we’ve tasted better fried chicken 🍗 with extra kriuks! Although this fried chicken is quite special as the kriuks are in big chunks! Definitely not the tiny-tiny kriuks that u have to dig for! You can pick this one up and just snack on it 🤪although we do think that the chicken could be more tender i guess if they ‘presto’ the chicken more when they give the chicken its flavoring!
Saturday is our Bakmi day! 🍜 @bakmigandhi73 we usually order the normal noodles which comes with chopped saucy pork, beansprouts, veggies and noodles! The noodles here are more towards the sweeter and savory kind not your usual basic savory noodles! You can also add boiled saucy egg 🥚 to your noodle dish! Don’t forget to add the fried onion for topping to make the dish even more flavorful! 😋😋😋
One of the fluffiest and eggy bread in Jakarta 🤩🤩🤩 it is actually so cheap (14k per loaf of bread) 🍞 🍞 🍞 anere can you find this gem 💎?? @kawi_bakery in sunter has been our family favourite bakery (just for the toast okay) it is actually hella fluffy and eggy and best with any toppings we want!! Sometimes this toast could be just good with some salted butter 🧈 and lightly toasted ... you should try it because it is actually quite underrated ... I remember when we were kids, we always fight for the corner of the loaf because it is the best part 😅😅😅😅
We tried a new food @omaelly.id We ordered Chitarra Waygu, Porcini Pizza, Classic Beef Lasagna, and Tiramisu. My favourites 🥰🥰🥰are the Lasagna and the Tiramisu, The Classic Beef Lasagna served with pasta, homemade beef ragu with 3 cheese bechamel, I love the lasagna because the flavours was amazing & it makes kept on eating it more and more. The Tiramisu cake contains mascarpone cheese feeling with layered Italian lady fingers soaked in special Oma Elly’s espresso blend and kahlua. I love the Tiramisu because it was not sweet and it has an equal amount layer for every each component, so every bite you can taste all the components inside the Tiramisu. My least favourite was the Chitarra Waygu because they choose the wrong type of pasta and in my opinion they should choose a light type pasta instead of a heavy type of pasta. Since the sauces was creamy they should change their pasta for example angel hair
Here we try a seafood 🦞🦀🐠🦑🦐🐙 restaurant @pondokkemangibsd , we ordered Spicy & Sour carp soup “Sop gurame asam pedas”, Fried carp with whole grain “Ikan goreng gandum”, Baby scallops with black pepper sauces “Ceriping lada hitam”, Pepes fish “Pepes ikan nila”, Calamari “Cumi goreng tepung”, and karedok. My favourite 🤩🤩🤩dish are the spicy & sour carp soup, baby scallops with black pepper and fried carp with whole wheat grain. I love 😍😍😍 the spicy & sour soup because it has an amazing flavour, the fish was fried so you can get texture when you eat it, and it reminds me of Tom yum soup. This dish was so good but I recommend you to share it. The baby scallops were very tiny but the black pepper flavour really shine through the baby scallops but the cooked of the baby scallops was good 😍😍😍. Last but not least the fried carp with whole wheat grain. I love this dish because the fish was fillet & it’s kid friendly 🤪🤪🤪 since they remove the bone, crunchy, and it had the right amount of seasoning. Overall I would definitely come back to this place because personally I don’t really like seafood but when I love something with seafood it’s 💯.
Its poke time! 🐡🐠🐟 @limupoke is one of the best poke house here in Jakarta! 🇮🇩 @limupoke we ordered the classic bowl which is a bowl of rice topped with tuna 🍣, salmon 🍣, cucumber 🥒, wakame, corn 🌽, and all dressed with the Limu sauce! Did you know! You can also build your own bowl here @limupoke , originally wanted to make my own bowl but, ended up choosing the classic one since it was basically what I wanted 🤪
Betawi food is comfort food 🍴 @gerobakbetawi we ordered their ketoprak and the pempek kapal selam! The ketoprak is more to the saucy side and apparently@it takes a while to make but it is definitely worth it! 🤩 For the pempek tbh its nothing special but a lil bit of crunch never hurts 😉 also the pempek sauce is quite spicy so do add the sauce according to your spice tolerance 😋
Whole lotta flavors in one scoop 🍦 @latteriagelato.id we tried their gandalf the grey and the 1945 in one scoop! I know right! Such a weird combo! 🤭 BUTT the ice cream here is super creamy and super unique! The flavors range from your basic vanilla, chocolate, you know what 😏 till weird but super tasty flavors like the 1945 which was kopyor and syrup! Honestly it was so much pressure to choose which flavors we want but our love for early grey ice cream made us couldn’t resist trying theirs and the 1945 was to see if other weird combos are as good as the basic ones! 😋😋😋
