Nanny's pasta bisa dibilang salah satu pasta yang saya suka! Pastanya aldente, toppingsnya tidak berlebihan, ayamnya lembut dan garing dan tasty, dan krimnya thick enough tapi gak bikin eneg. Disini pelayanannya juga bagus dan tempatnya juga lucu seperti di barn :)

Saya kesini nyobain kopinya, wah super strong sekali ini kopi. Saya sebenernya ga ada masalah kalau kopinya strong yah, kalau ada creamernya dan ditambah gula, strong coffee is actually really delightful, cuma yang ini agak asam :( jadi kalo dicampur gula atau creamer, rasanya udah ga keruan. Cuma efeknya sih betul2 kerasa ya, langsung melek seharian :)

Shihlin ada menu baru sekarang! They now serve you ... *drumroll* Fried Mushrooms! Kemarin saya nyoba menu baru ini. Ya seperti jamur goreng biasa. Jamurnya jamur enoki, jadi bukan seperti popcorn mushroom gitu, saya pertamanya kira mushroomnya yang seperti popcorn pakai portobello.

Begitu pesanan selesai, wah porsinya banyak ya! 25ribu rupiah, dapet lumayan banyak, dan bumbunya juga meresap. Minyaknya sih masih kerasa, cuma yang bikin enak ya tepungnya setelah dimasak garing sekali, dan garingnya tahan lama, tidak benyek2, rasanya pedas asin. Makannya juga cukup mudah.

I always love Thailand food. Sour and tasty was just two of my favorite flavor of taste. We were served by the best waitress. She was so suggestive, friendly, cheerful, and had lot of product knowledge. This restaurant was very lucky to have her as their waitress. We tried several of their menus as follows:

[Khao Pad Sapparod Rp.59.000]

Nasi Nanas, topped with cashews, chicken, and herbs. The rice was smooth and fragrant, the toppings were yummy too.


[Pad Kaprao Gai Rp.49.000]

Chopped chicken with basil. The minced chicken was covered in brown sweet soy sauce, thus, made them looked like tempe. But when you ate them, oh, it's chicken! It was tasty, colorful flavor, and I just love how the basil play some role in its taste. You could really taste them. Salty and tasty basil-y chicken.


[Tom Yam Praw Oon Rp.139.000]

This was a tom yum on a coconut shell. The waitress insisted we had to try this. It was indeed very tasty. One of its strongest point would be its zesty-and-spicy taste, it's not only a very delicious soup, but also presented so beautifully on a coconut shell. One and only flaw was that there's just not enough seafood inside for us to be eaten. They need to put more mushroom, seafood, or chicken inside that's edible. They focused too much on its broth and looks (which they succeeded, I had to admit), but forgetting the fact that this dishes were very expensive for its portioning (only a medium coconut shell, as a bowl), and they only put 2 big shrimp inside for something that we could eat inside the soup. More filling please!

[Khao Ni Mamuang Rp.39.000]

Mango sticky rice. Not bad, actually. Two things that would make this better are to improve its quality and presentation. The sticky rice's color was a bit dark and didn't look so clean, and the mango still had some part or its skin hadn't peeled of perfectly. If they arrange it so neatly, it would add more value to the meal. And the coconut milk was a bit too salty too. The taste of the sticky rice and mango was good.

Creamy thai tea. The thai tea flavored wasn't too strong, a bit sweet and more cream. I love it.

[Fresh Strawberry Rp.35.000]

They add a bit syrup and sugar here, it's a fresh squeeze juice and it tasted wonderful. Fresh and delicious. Not too sweet (for me) :p

Udah beberapa kali saya lewatin ruko Bakmi Aloi ini. Saya sebelumnya sering makan saingannya yang namanya mirip banget, makanya waktu lewat kok kayaknya sounds familiar. Akhirnya saya coba delivery. Saya pesan Bakmie Ayam [Rp.24.000].

Waktu pesanan saya datang, saya cukup puas lihat porsinya, karena cukup banyak. Kebetulan saya lagi tidak terlalu lapar, jadi saya sharing makanan sama ibu saya. Hehe.

Pertama-tama, warna bakmie nya agak mengingatkan saya sama lamien manis. Warnanya agak kecoklatan, dan daging cincangnya juga warnanya agak coklat, bukan putih. Untuk tekstur mienya, saya cukup suka. Cukup kenyal, ukurannya pas, rasanya agak asin dan manis, mungkin karena mereka menggunakan kecap manis juga. Cuma menurut saya agak kurang minyaknya, karena cukup sulit buat saya buat menyumpit bakmie nya tanpa mengambil sebagian besar porsi dari kardus makanan. Ayam cincangnya enak dan cukup melimpah. Kuahnya biasa aja, dan sambelnya agak sedikit padat.

Overall, bakmienya cukup enak. Menurut saya ini cukup tinggi resemblancenya sama lamien manis, dari segi bentuk bakmie, warna, dan sedikit rasa. Hanya saja, yang ini tidak menggunakan kecap manis terlalu banyak, jadi lebih kurang rasanya tidak semanis lamien manis ;)  

Chicken chicken chicken were just so famous as snacks nowadays. Paper Bag is one of chicken stall you can find at malls. Paper Bag wasn't as popular as other deep fried chicken, I was curious, so I tried.

I ordered Honey Chicken Teriyaki [Rp.30.000].

The one thing that I loved about this shop was its packaging. I always wish that all of the shop selling fried chicken fillet could offered a more decent packaging, not just the paper bag that would easily be soggy and ripped by chicken's water vapor. I know this paper bag used paper bag before, but last time I went here, they provided me with a decent plastic bowl that could stay in shape till I finish my meal. The chicken was so so though. Too watery for me. I expect more like deep fried chicken, I thought the honey teriyaki was more like a Korean fried chicken, more like sauce on top, but the chicken was still dry, you know. But the chicken was a bit wet. There's a little bone in it too.

Pita Fried Chicken [Rp.20.000]

The bread was a bit thick, delicious regular pita bread. The chicken was deep fried, crunchy and tasty too! It's fillet so don't worry about bones :D

Beef Kebab [Rp.36.500]

Love the kebab. The portion was actually not really generous, but enough to make one person full, I guess. The beef was sliced thin, nice and cooked well, tasty too. The mayo and the veggies was ok but didn't really taste fresh.

Holycow salah satu steak yang saya sukaaaaa sekali. First of all, wagyu with reasonable price. Dagingnya sangat lembut dan juicy, tingkat kematangan pas, dan sausnya juga lezat. Porsinya juga pas dan side dishnya not bad. Love love :9
