gue kesini gak lama setelah the pianoza buka, and GOD. it has to be one of the worst experiences i had in a western-styled restaurant. i ordered calamari rings, seafood alfredo, and the pizza (la cosa nostra or smth along the lines) ordered ginger ale, too.
the pizza was kinda great. cheese and everything else was fresh. the crust was beautiful. tapi cuman itu sih yang gue suka dr makanan mreka.
seafood alfredonya PARAH banget. seafoodnya amis semua, terutama cuminya, parah banget. udah gak mateng, trs ga di season sama sekali sama chef nya. terus mreka juga ga peduli sama bau amis cuminya. basically they ruined the dish from me. the mussels tasted bad. they weren’t fresh mussels :/ considering harganya 85k, gue kecewa sih. gue gak berharap yang wow banget kea pasta 100$ bertruffle (jelas lahya:)) tapi kl ini parah banget sih. apalagi seasoningnya gak ada samsek! MAN! how can they make seafood taste bad:(
calamarinya jg ancur banget menurut gue. lack of seasoning, only the batter was seasoned. and the calamari wasn’t properly cleaned as well (too gamey for me) trs batternya juga aneh, so crumbly almost like they fried the squid in breadcrumbs and 5kgs of oil?? bc i was disturbed by the amount of oil in the dish. but the sauce was good and i liked the fried spinach.:))
