Our Weekly Escape

Ice Milk Drink w/ Caramel, Taro Pudding, Honey Boba (IDR 29k) We ordered ours with taro pudding because they ran our of their regular one. But we were pleasantly surprised to find how lovely the flavor combination was! Not only did the beverage feel silky smooth and mellow because of the milk, it was also perfectly sweetened with honey; the very same they coated the honey boba with.
Fair warning, guys. We don't think ordering one is going to be enough.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino
As if it were a tradition, we've started utilizing our Saturdays to do even more work. This usually means cafe-hopping in search of the best place to get some work done.

This time, we're having this spaghetti to accompany us during our productive weekend.
We certainly appreciate the generous serving of tuna flakes and sprinkles of tobiko with the pasta. We certainly wished the dish was more garlic-y, though. But it was a decent meal for a relatively affordable price.

(Spoiler alert: we managed to get some work done here! The ambiance is good and there weren't many people, which helped us concentrate!)

Paling seneng kalau nemu tempat makan baru yang enak. Pas kemarin ini ada kesempatan ngunjungin Eatsaurus di kawasan Semanan, pilihan makanan jatuh pada menu yang sangat eye-catching ini.

Sandwich Ala King ini memang menggoda banget, soalnya kejunya gooey gitu. Dalemnya ada chicken katsu dan barbeque sauce. Rasanya balanced banget. Katsunya crispy dan roti charcoalnya juga super lembut. Di dalamnya juga ada timun dan selada, jadi rasanya nggak terlalu heavy, padahal kejunya lumayan banyak! Nggak nyesel pokoknya beli ini.
Dan yang paling penting, harganya pas di kantong banget! Makanan yang lain-lainnya juga enak banget. Mulai dari Chicken Katsu-nya, sampai Nasi Goreng Hongkongnya semuanya enak banget! Kaget banget pas udah pesen begitu banyak dan ternyata bill-nya nggak sampai 100 ribu.
Recommended banget deh, pokoknya!

Combo BBQ Pork Belly Succulent pork meat, crunchy pork cracklings, and sweet & juicy pork satay to complete the dish. This is definitely one of our favorite comfort food! The BBQ seasoning brings out the natural umami flavor from the meat. Much love!
Bacon Cheese Bomb Bacon and mozzarella cheese. What do you get when you combine two of our favorite ingredients into one dish? 😍😍😍

Not only does Bacon Cheese Bomb has crunch from the fried bacon, the gooey cheese inside becomes a nice contrast in texture. Don't forget the small dollop of mayonnaise on top, which binds the finger food together into this crunchy-yet-chewy, salty-yet-sour snack we will definitely crave for a long time!

The moment we stepped into Sophie Authentique, we immediately fell in love. The small showcase, fresh fruits lined up at the bottom, and rustic pastries on display are good indications of the place's overall look and feel. It feels like we're visiting a small cafe in France for a morning coffee! 

We ordered a Canelé, which was very moist and had a strong caramel flavor. We also appreciated the fresh orange-apple-carrot juice as our vitamin booster. We could tell that the fruits used were fresh and yummy!

Jujur, kami jatuh cinta pada coffee shop ini dari pertama kali kami berkunjung. Dengan interiornya yang homey banget, dan juga window seat yang super kece, ber-lighting bagus, dan ditutupi rindangnya pepohonan, Fillmore Coffee memang menjadi salah satu tempat favorit kami untuk bekerja. Buat teman-teman yang mau mampir ke sini, kami saranin datang pagi ya, guys. Kalau sore soalnya suka sudah penuh tempatnya 

Honey Latte
Acidity kopinya berasa banget, padahal ini sudah ditambah madu. Untuk teman-teman yang suka minum kopi dengan cita rasa asam, semua kopi di Fillmore Coffee ini recommended.
