When we thought waiting for food for 1 hour is the worst part of today experience.
We went there during lunch today - sat at table 711. As the headline sum up we had a very disapointing experience.
Started off with an unprofessional communication from the customer service when we called in hope trying to reserve the table (which will link to another point of the story). Secondly, they asked us to clean up the baby chair by ourselves when we asked for one (didnt understand why). But the highlight of our experience started when we need to wait for -/+ 1 hour late for our food.. at first we were OK to wait until we realize the table besides us who come later than us had all the food ready sooner than us significantly. The waiting game was one thing - but when i reached out to the waiter the reason of the delay was 1/ they forgot to put our food into the system 2/ the waiter explained that the other table is priortized as it was a VIP guest where they already reserve and all.
Definitely VIP guest often got the specific privilege but hearing that from the waiter himself and accepting the fact that in our case it was at the expense of our food was really disappointing. Its somehow reflect how you value their your consumer.
Saw multiple of service improvement points throughout this google review thread. I hope Haipin value their consumers more in the future. today definitely will be our last visit to the restaurant.
