β’ Main Course : Signature Bistecca Dry-Aged for 45 days Fiorentina (1kg) ; Medium Rare π₯© - 8/10
Mostly the pieces were juicy, red center, tender. Seasoning just right and like the lemon juice drizzled on top πβ¨. There were like 2-3 pieces that were overcooked (med well-slightly less than well done βΉ)
β’ Sides: Signature Hand-Cut friesπ with Organic Egg π³ & crispy pork bacon π₯ - 8.5/10
Fries were thick, yet crispy and love the salty-savory seasoning + the pork bacon !! Paired well with the richer steak. Would love the egg yolk to be more soft/melty.
β’ Appetizer: Pancetta-wrapped Hokkaido Scallops π - 7.8/10
Plump Seared Scallops added with that salty,crispy pancetta π₯ gives a reinvigorating start to the meal. Wished the tomatoes π
were grilled and the arugula to be more seasoned, but the spinach puree π helps with the blandness of the veggies.
β’ Yalumba The Signature Cabarnet Sauvignon [Vintage 2010] π·π§ββοΈ- 7.5/10
Super vivid, deep and intense mix of juicy berries and an oaky essence. A bit too heavy for me but def elevates the steak .. coz steak & wine am I right π
β’ Chocolate Tart π«π₯§ - 7.5/10
Portion size was okay, with the tart consisting of 85% chocolate and 15% tart-base. The base is made of buttery cornflake π½, while the chocolate is dense and rich but made of majority bittersweet chocolate. Personally enjoy sweeter dessert, but this gets more enjoyable as you eat. The chocolate Bark was too dark for me -- cant finish it, wished there was like ice cream / custard to sweeten things up π¬π
