Gudeg krecek, ayam, tahu, tempe, telor
Branch from Yogyakarta’s Gudeg Sagan. Taste wise is the same as the one in Yogyakarta, but with Jakarta’s pricing scheme (read: expensive lol, my analogy was one small sampling plate in Jakarta is equal to one big giant jumbo portion in Yogyakarta lol )
The gudeg (stewed unripe jackfruit in coconut milk and palm sugar) is delicious though kinda sweet.
The chicken was tender and flavorful.
The sambal krecek (spicy crisp beef skin stewed) was good but not as spicy as I expected. Egg and Tofu and tempeh bacem (braised spice egg, tofu and tempeh) were okay.
verall they maintain the same taste and quality as the one in Yogyakarta, so for those who crave gudeg, this would be another alternative to cure your crave.
