This place has been around for quite some time, and my parents brought me here by force. The place aims to be aesthetically pleasing to the hipster eye, and I guess they kind off succeeded. The place doesn't look or feel cozy, and it's really humid there. I was sweating like a sinner in church. I ordered their rum mocha, which was a disappointment to my tastebuds and all rum drinks, because I only tasted sour coffee, which just angers me more, because I'm awfully picky with my coffee. I'm pretty sure there was no rum in that glass, so I don't understand why they would call it rum mocha. I ordered it because it said rum, but there was no rum. Why would you do that. I also ordered banana fritters, and it tasted hard and bland and sad. I tasted the cheese roll (?) and it was just risoles. Please don't lie to me and tell me that a risoles is a cheese roll, 'cause it's not. I also tasted the spaghetti, and it was okay, I guess. Not the best, but still ok. The banana cake, however, was great. You need to get used to the flavor first though. Overall, not a coffeeshop I will come back to anytime soon.
