Newish brunch place, food took a while to come out and we found hair in one of the dishes. Service was excellent though, and they promptly offered to remake the dish. Coffee was great.

French Toast (98k) 7/10
Unlike your standard brioche, Markt used challah as the based for their french toast. Bread was nicely toasted but somewhat dry since it’s missing the buttery fluffy texture of brioche. Overall still a pretty good french toast, ice cream added much needed moisture and the addition of peach mixed well together with the berries.

Avo and Kale (108k) 5/10
Sourdough topped with poached egg, hollandaise, avo, kale, and cabbage. Pretty standard, if a bit bland. For some reason hollandaise tasted quite flat, not only is the colour too pale, but I couldn’t really taste the lemon juice.
