Honestly we had high hopes for this place, considering it is a part of what we consider as the gold standard of #sushi joint in Jakarta.

Let's start with the Nigiri.

Rice is cooked just right, not exactly great but it tantalizes our taste buds just fine with stickiness game on point, and moist enough we barely noticed the grains as it fills our mouth perfectly.

The salmon is one of the freshest around in Jakarta, and that truly means something if you have lived long enough in this city. The slice is also quite generous.

The taste is somewhat not something we would write home about, but definitely we will tell our friends about it at least twice, just to make sure that they will pay a visit next time they are in the area.

Mentai Aburi is also very nice, although we would have preferred it to be grilled just a little bit longer. But the Mentaiko does get the job done in making us ask for second helping.

Now, on with the Maki.

One of the better Nori we have encountered so far, to say the crispness is spot on would be an understatement. We cannot help but wonder where they got it from.

Choosing instead the Salmon Skin for Temaki, we find it to be soft yet with enough crispness not to let each bite becoming a struggle as it will split fairly easily.

For the Ikura Zuke Gunkan, we love how the Green Onion adds a stronger flavor into an otherwise neutral offering.

As for the Inari, which interestingly comes in different flavors to choose from, we do not sense even the slightest trace of bitterness that is usually found in most other places offering it. The pouch itself is also nicely done.

And definitely a YES to minimal two Repeat Visits.
