selalu kalau ngopi ke Toby.. ga Tau enak bangettt kopinyaa + tmptnya super comfy. Nyobain juga versi si strawberry cheesecake itu sih endoll bat. Pokoknya debest deh

Toby di GI itu letaknya ada di dalam Seibu, sebelahnya Alfred. Jadi agak masuk dulu ke dalam, tempatnya cukup luas dan banyak seat yang tersedia. Fasilitas pun lengkap dari wifi sampai colokan disetiap mejanya.

Aku tertarik untuk cobain menu itu karena botolnya yang lucu, tapi karena ada misskom sedikit jadinya disajikan digelas karena minum ditempat.

Untuk soal rasa sebetulnya Toby ini ga main-main di dunia kopi, terbukti dari rasa kopinya. Yang white (kopi susu), cukup ringan tapi tidak terlalu manis juga. Yang black (kopi hitam), pun ini ringan juga jadi tipis manis ga begitu tebal.
Sesuai selera tentunya, dan di aku cocok.

Selain kopi botolan disini pun ada manual brewnya, pilihan biji kopi serta metode penyeduhannya pun banyak.

Tempatnya super cozy walaupun agak kecil. The foods that i had:

• calamari for the appetizer. It was so good! Pefectly coated squid with a balanced flavor of the sauce. Cuminya crunchy sempurna. Rasanya enaaak.

•truffle fries. Kirain kentang goreng pake jamur, ternyata kentang goreng biasa pake keju diatasnya. Biasa aja.

• the salmon donburi was just okay, nothing special. Ada telur, teratai (ini enak! Crunchy" gitu), salmon, nori, dan side veggiesnya. Kind of lacking of seasoning for me. Eventho the picture looked amazing..

• klepon cake was good. Cakenya tebel dan guede, bisa buat 2-3 orang menurutku. Lembuut, ga terlalu manis jadi ga eneg makannya. Basically klepon in a form of cake sih, di tiap layernya ada kelapa dan gula merah.

• chai latte was AMAZING! You could taste the spices but it wasn't overwhelming. Manisnya pas. Suka bgtbgt sm yg ini!

Hari ini aku order chicken club sandwich, iced cappuccino and truffle fries to share!

Sandwich nya super good - saosnya enak, bacon, chickennya banyak bgt and as you can see, they offer lots of cheese parmesan fries.

Truffe Friesnya entah knp kali ini ga terasa trufflenya pdhl biasa wangi bgt.

Iced Cappnya agak kebanyakan susu but if u like it that way, ull love it.

Must try : spicy chicken popcorn 75k (lupa foto karena udah terlanjur dimakan) rasanyaa so good! Crunchy and spicy tpi daging ayamnya bisa lembut dan juicy gitu. Bikin nagih

Setelah mencoba cabang Pondok Indah dan suka, aku ajakin temen untuk nyobain cabang GI. Tempatnya agak ngumpet ya di pojok dalem Seibu.

What we order:
Cappuccino, Ice Chai Latte, Espresso Pie, Salt and Pepper Calamari, and I forget the name of the menu but I think it's Truffle Bacon and Egg Croissant.

The highlight is definitely the croissant. Perfect brunch menu, the styling is so pretty, the croissant taste great, and it comes with the perfect kind of egg yolk. The cappuccino is good but not too special, the Ice Chai Latte is okay but probably better if it's hot. Kalau pakai ice rasanya jadi agak luntur yah. Calamari-nya agak aneh, style-nya agak lembek dan rasanya lebih tawar, ga kaya calamari biasa, aku kurang suka, lebih prefer calamari biasa aja yang crispy dan banyak main rasa di sausnya. Untuk dessert, esspresso Pie-nya enak banget, ga seenak chocolate cake-nya, tapi ini juga so moist and melt in your mouth with great blend of coffee and chocolate in it. 

Toby's in GI is a great place to hang-out for hours with friends. Tempatnya rame tapi tetap comfy untuk ngobrol-ngobrol sama temen. The interior, dominated by white color, is definitely instaworthy,  the lighting are great, the food styling is awesome and makes your mouth water when you see it. Untuk minuman dingin, mereka sajikan dalam gelas plastik jadi bisa dibawa keliling mall kalau udah pengen pergi. Their specialties is leaning towards brunch and dessert menu, I think, and they're doing excellent job at it! Love their cakes!

Untuk servis masih perlu agak perbaikan, karena sering susah nangkep perhatian waiter-nya. Tapi buat anak milenials, fix, Toby's Estate is the new favorite brunch-slash-cafe-slash-hang-out place.
