Ke sini sengaja dari sebelum jam makan siang supaya gak terlalu rame, dan bener gak rame bonusnya suasana hujan juga jadi enak banget sih. Agak siangan udah mulai rame. Cocoknya untuk hangout dan ngobrol2 aja bareng temen.

Chicken Steaknya enak banget harus coba! selain itu porsinya besar dan worth it sm harganya. Tapi untuk Spaghetti nya sendiri aku kurang suka karena kurang cocok, awalnya kalo di liat sedikit banget ternyata isinya banyak. Dan Red Velvet sih gaboleh ketinggalan karena seenak itu! 1 slice aja itu udah cukup bikin kenyang. Dan minumnya aku pesan menu aman, Lychee Teanya enak dan segar, tp utk Lattenya masih termasuk pahit menurut aku yang kurang suka kopi, jd gabisa begitu nikmatin.

Kalo pelayanannya ga perlu ditanya lagi, nice banget! kalo dimintai tolong buat foto pun hasilnya juga bagus karena tau angle yg tepatnys. Pesanannya cepet datengnya dan tanggap banget kalo kita minta sesuatu.

Biasanya klo ke union senayan selalu takeaway nah kali ini akhirnya dine in. Seperti biasa gue order ube cake, red velvet, dan untuk asinnya gue order truffle fries, sama minumnya es kopi susu. Kue nya ga usah diraguin lagi lah yaa gue selalu order 2 kue itu klo union tapi kayanya 1 slice aja sebenernya cukup buat berdua ko karena ukuran slice nya besar. Kopi susunya lumayan ko tapi truffle fries nya biasa aja 

Udah keseringan ke sini, biasa pesen cake dan salah satunya Red Velvet. 1 slice ini besar dan bisa makan sharing. Taburan kacangnya sih juara deh.

Union serving the best red velvet cake. Dimana pun cari red velvet cake pasti akan balik lagi kemari. Cake nya makan 1 slice nggak bikin enek, karena manis nya pas & kuenya lembut. Harganya tentu mahal karena menggunakan bahan-bahan high grade quality.

Plaza Senayan atau lebih dikenal dengan PS, merupakan salah satu mall lawas yang berada di jalan Asia Afrika, Senayan, Jakarta Selatan. Mall yang diresmikan pada tahun 1996 ini memiliki tenant-tenant ritel serta food & beverage yang berkelas.

Disisi paling kanan dari mall ini terdapat sebuah bistro kece yang tampil begitu menawan bernama Union. Bentuk bistro memanjang dengan warna hitam serta potongan jendela kotak-kotak yang mengisi sepanjang dinding bistro. So spacious.

Sepanjang bistro ini didesain bergaya klasik, baik dari segi pemilihan furnitur, maupun penggunaan ornamen pelengkap ruang. Pintu masuk Union terdapat ditengah-tengah bistro yang dapat melalui dalam mall, ataupun dari luar mall dekat taman air mancur. Bistro ini terdiri dari meja bar, display cake sekaligus kasir dan seating table berbentuk sofa maupun kursi klasik.

Untuk soal pengunjung, Union memang selalu ramai dan hampir ga pernah sepi. Tak heran jika para pelayan dituntut untuk bekerja cepat dalam melayani setiap tamu yang datang. Namun dari kualitas keramahannya, saya ga mendapatkan pelayanan yang nice dan bersahabat. Need more improvement.

Menu makan siang saya kali ini dimulai dengan free appetizer atau disebut tapas dalam restoran Spanyol, berupa roti gandum dan butter. Tekstur roti gandumnya sangat mirip roti Perancis yang keras diluar namun empuk didalam.

Angus Beef Steak Sandwich (Rp.125.000,-) disajikan didalam alas kayu bersama potato chip dan sour homemade sauce. Tekstur roti sangat lembut, proses pemanggangan sampai keemasan, membuat tekstur bagian luarnya terasa renyah. Isiannya berupa daging sapi, mozarella dan beberapa komponen lain. Rasanya juicy dan gurih. So yummy.

Salted Egg Spaghetti Prawn (Rp.90.000,-) merupakan sajian pasta yang dimasak dengan bumbu saus telur asin bertabur keju parmesan. 3 potong udang besar hadir sebagai protein sekaligus garnish yang sangat menggiurkan. Rasanya super gurih, saya sih suka banget. Hanya karena dimasak dengan bumbu telur asin, tak lantas membuat rasanya terlalu asin, justru terasa sangat gurih dan cheesy. Udangnya pun so fresh, sehingga menimbulkan sensasi juicy yang nendang abis.

Sebagai teman makan, saya memesan Ice Peach Tea (Rp.40.000,-) dan Ice Chocolate (Rp.45.000,-). Kedua minumannya terasa menyegarkan. Ice Peach Tea terdiri dari teh, sirup peach dan potongan buah peach. So refreshingly. Ice Chocolate nya pun terasa creamy dan milky.

Sebagai menu dessert, saya mencoba Redvelvet Cake (Rp.60.000,-). Potongan kue ini super besar. Layer kue yang merah dengan krim cheese yang putih, terlihat kontras dengan bubuk kacang yang menempel bagian pinggir kue. Rasanya cukup kuat, manis dan delicioso...

I really wanted to go to Union since forever. I often go to theirs' store in Grand Indonesia and ate theirs' cakes but never went to Plaza Senayan outlet to try theirs' menu. This place is really unique. It designed like a greenhouse. It's located beside Plaza Senayan's Mall. The interior was clean and neat with white cloth over theirs' wooden table. The chair was wooden furnished which makes this place really nice.

Red Velvet Cheese Cake and Red Velvet Pie - Rp 55,000 and Rp 50,000 This two are definitely in my top 5 favorite cake I ever tasted. The red velvet pie was so good. I prefer theirs' red velvet pie over red velvet cheese cake because there are more cream cheese and because of the thick red velvet crust. It's basically Union's signature red velvet cake in pie form. The crust was so crunchy and holds the cake in shape really well. Topped with my favorite EVER sweet peanut crumbs makes this cake is definitely worth a try!

Red Velvet Cheese Cake - Rp 55,000 If you ever tasted Union's red velvet cake and you like cheese cake, then this will be your next cake crush of the year. The cake was so moist and soft. But I feel like when I ordered a full cake the taste was a little bit better somehow. But anyway the difference isn't that significant between sliced cake and full cake. The wise way to eat this is to eat both part at once so you can taste hint of saltiness from the cheese cake and hint of bitterness from the red velvet and sweetness from both of the cake. This cake smelled so good that makes you wanna have another plate.

Escargots, Garlic Butter - Rp 105,000 I was never interested in ordering escargots every time I went to a restaurant. But, after I tasted this, it changed my mind. The escargot was so soft and buttery in my mouth. It didn't tasted like what I think escargots will be taste like and the best part,it didn't smelled at all. Accompanied by crunchy garlic, it makes a perfect combo! Small tips from me, save your free bread from the beginning of your order and dip it into the garlic butter, it's the BOMB!

Pork Crackling & Bacon Lardons, Spaghetti, Alba Truffle Cream - Rp 105,000 Curious about the hype of this pork themed spaghetti so I gotta try one. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly. The truffle cream was perfect and not overpowering my palette and the bacon was tender yet juicy. The pork crackling was nice but sadly not my favorite. It was good but I expected more because of the hype. But it is still worth to try because this dish was such a creamy dish.

Roasted Mushrooms, Spaghetti, White Truffle Cream (V) - Rp 95,000. This dish tasted quite the same with the pork spaghetti. It is creamy and yummy. Honestly I can't choose which one is better. I gave both of the dish 8,5/10 each. They gave generous amount of mushrooms. The mushrooms was pleasant and delightful.

Fennel-Crusted Pork Belly, Crispy Pork Rinds, Pomme Puree, Honey Mustard Vinaigrette - Rp 160,000 This is probably my favorite dish from my visit. The pork belly was sooo tender! It was very pleasant to eat. With the combination of the puree and honey mustard vinaigrette the dish tasted very good! The mustard was not too sour with the combination of honey it's such a perfect match with the pork belly. Because of the apple I can tasted the sweet taste from it in the pork belly. This dish is definitely a must order

Wagyu Jajangmyeon w/ Beef Rinds & King Oyster Mushrooms - Rp 135,000 I hesitated to ordered this menu at first so I ordered this menu after half of my order came out because I'm curious how's the taste of the traditional Korean menu with a bit of twisted because they added some "unusual" component to this traditional menu. It turns out quite good but not my favorite. The noodle was not a good match with this menu, it was to thick. The black bean sauce was too little than the usual black bean noodle I ordered in some Korean restaurant. The mushroom was good and surprisingly the kimchi tasted decent.

I actually ordered Truffle Fries (Rp 40,000) and Nasi Goreng (I forgot the price) but the food was across the table so I cannot take a proper picture of it.

The truffle fries smelled amazingly good. The fries was crispy and thin but soft inside, with grated cheese on top makes a perfect sides for lunch or dinner.

The Nasi Goreng was so good. The rice was not too dry and not too wet either. The spices of the Nasi Goreng was perfect, it was salty and a hint of spicy also. Overall it is my favorite dish after the pork belly.

Entah mengapa kita suka banget sama tempat ini, selain suasananya nyaman, dekor ditempat ini juga keren bangett 💋

Tapi sayang setiap meja punya batasan waktu, jadi gak bisa sesuka kita mau kelarnya kapan ( karena banyak yang ngantri cuii)
