Bourbon Eatery & Coffee

Went here for lunch and ordered fish & chips. It was nice and they also had good service. The place was not crowded so it was easy to find a place to sit.

1st FoodBaldy Review at Bourbon Cafe Mall @ Alam Sutera

1. Premium Wagyu Steak - 3.5/5
It's not too thick wagyu steak accompanied with french fries, sautéed veggies and two pieces of bread with butter. It should be special but it's not even it tastes good. They should make it more premium like its name if you know what I meant.

2. The Carnivore - 1.5/5
I think it's the worst burger around. The bun is hard and the feeling is not helping at all too. The fries helps a little bit but it still just a fries. It's not recommended even if you are burger lovers.

3. Triple Nachos. - 4/5
This side dish consists of nachos and potato chips with special meat and bean sauce. It tastes better than the main dish and make sure you don't order it alone because it's quite a big bowl.

4. Naughty Fries - 3.5/5
These fries are very naughty together, consist of shoestring fries, curly fries and onion. Again, it should be good but it is lacked of crispiness and it's too oily.

5. Mille Feuille with Ovomaltine Cream Cheese - 1/5
It's disappointed. This dessert really have a bad taste and leave a bad flavor kind of thing in your mouth. I don't know why but it may have something wrong about it.

6. Honey Lemon Tea - 4/5
It's an usual good honey and lemon tea. At least they use fresh lemon slice and few drops of real honey make it tastes sweetly good.

Foods and Beverage - 3/5 - The side dishes are better than the main dishes and they have selections of coffee that supported by Tanamera which tastes great.

Atmosphere - 4/5 - You can choose to sit inside or some open space terrace. It's not too big restaurant but they have some good vintage design around.

Service - 4/5 - Some are quite hospitable and know how to serve their guests by recommending this restaurant's favorite dishes.

Price - $$ (Mid to High) - The price is still good for that quite big portion.

Overall - 3.5/5 - I am not sure about their main dishes but you can enjoy few side dishes with a cup of great coffee or tea, surrounded by good vintage design inside or just fresh air outside.

Lagi lunch bingung mau makan apa jadinya mampirlah ke bourbon ini.. Cobain beberapa menunya:

1. Chicken Cordon bleu (60k++): sebenernya ayamnya sendiri not bad sih, meski pake ayam broiler tapi ga bau... Goreng kering dan ga oily juga.. Tapi kering bangett sausnya juga kurang.. Untuk porsi ga gitu besar untuk harganya.

2. Ubud crispy duck (75k++): nahh yang ini lumayan enak nih, ga nyangka ketemu bebek cukup enak di resto fushion begini.. Bebeknya ga terlalu berminyak dan ga berbau, di goreng super crispy sampe gurih banget bisa digigit ke tulang2nya.. nyumm!

3. Penang fried noodle (45k++): lumayan enak, wangi dan isinya lumayan banyak.. Tapi tekstur mie nya menurut saya terlalu lembek sih..

Overall ya not bad, tapi ga outstanding juga.. Klo bingung mau makan apa msh ok kok cobain :)

well, dr beberapa kunjungan terakhir kesini dan mau coba Bailey's Chocolate Lava Cakenya selalu dlm sikon sold out atau emang ga direstock (?)
kali ini coba menu lain dan cukup kecewa.
* Old School Fish & Chip: fillet dory digoreng tepung tp kurang garing sih luarnya dan oily banget dah. cukup tebal dagingnya dan disajikan dgn baby potatoes yg digoreng kering tp sayang aj kurang asin, mayo biasa dan sedikit salad, not a recommended one, ckck 

* Iced Lychee Tea: basenya seperti jasmine greentea yg dipakein sirup leci dan dikasih 2 buah leci biasa, standar.

A good place and have a very homy ambience, one of the nicest cafe in mal alam sutra i'd say.. I went here with my boyfriend and we're enjoying our dinner on weekdays, i orderd egg benedict, fish and chips and also their red velvet waffles.. First of all their presentation was so good but te taste was so so.. The fish and chips is too oilly, the waffles isnt fluffy and so was the egg benedict.. It was just ok for me :) but i always come here for meeting or just having a girls day out!

Siang2 bolong, pengen nongkrong, di mol alsut, fix pilihan gue ke sini.. So far ini tempat paling pewe di mol alsut buat nongkrong. Tempat comfy, wifi tersedia, menu makanan dan minuman juga oke.

Cappucino
Mau ngopi tp ga mau terlalu berat, jd pilih ini aja deh. Gue br engeh bourbon tuh pakai beans nya tanamera. Sooo.. Gue pilih beans gayo yg dari Aceh. Kopi nya cukup setrong, karena cukup bs membuat gue deg2an. Buat gue susunya kurang gurih. Tp aroma nya oke.. Cuma latte art nya kurang gimanaaa gitu yah. Ahh yg penting tetep like it lah pokoke

Mau nongkrong santai tanpa kopi. Dr foto menu ini menarik perhatian gue. Jadi pesen deh.
Bahana bay!
All about mango. Tp jgn harap dibuat dr mangga asli ya hehe. Ini pakai sirup mangga, dan ada pudding mangga di bawahnya. Segerrrr.
Rasanya pas, ga keasaman dan ga kemanisan. Cucok lah buat temenin eike di siang bolong

Red Velvet Wafflenya enakk! Perpaduan cream cheese dan ice cream vanilla cocok! Tapi.. kalau menurut sy wafflenya terlalu kering sehingga porsi cream cheese + ice cream terasa kurang banyak. Hershey's choco, standard sih ini. Black russian pie, wah ini enak, bertekstur mirip jelly tapi enak banget berasa coklatnya. Untuk minuman nyobain Bahana Bay, seger bangeeeet, ini minuman serba mangga. Mulai dari ice cream rasa mangga, entah sirup atau jus mangga sampai ada potongan buah mangganya, recommended bagi pecinta mangga! Tempatnya terbilang cozy dan interiornya juga bagus kok plus ruangannya tidak sempit.

Ragam sajian hidangan di sini lebih mengarah ke western style. Untuk rasa dari makanan cukup menggugah selera, khususnya bagi yang mengunjungi daerah Alam Sutera yang lumayan terik, LOL.
Pemilihan interior dibuat senyaman dan se-cozy mungkin dengan alunan musik yang membuat anda cukup betah.
