    Unacho Hitsumabushi [ Senayan, Jepang ]

    Great dinner experience

    UNAGI HITSUMABUSHI (one single layer -198K). Basically, it is a charcoal grilled eel in nagoya style so there’s selected charcoal and dipped of a secret sauce and there’s a broth as well. Just diggin with three different ways and finish it with the combination flavors you like. I’m a broth type of person when it comes to nagoya unagi, their broth is loveable! (8/10)

    TORI HITSUMABUSHI (138K) - nagoya style chargrilled chicken with house special sauce. As I like their unagi hitsumabushi, I love this one better. All the condiments and broth is same, but the chicken itself is more flavorful than unagi. There’s appropriate salt in that chicken, with a hint of bitter and sweet in the end. Just right in place! (9/10)

    SALMON YUKE ABURI DON (98K) - fresh thinly sliced salmon aburi with special yuke dressing topped with egg yolk. Just mix all the elements together - find the crazy umami flavour and sensation in one mouthful spoon. Spicy, salty, sweet and sour in one don bowl - so delicious! (10/10)

    SALMON WAFU CARPACCIO (88K) - freshly thinly slice salmon sashimi served with homemade wafuu sauce. Very well-balanced between fresh, sweet and acidity. Love how the wafuu absorb the thinly salmon sashimi and it’s a delicious starter! (9/10)

    GYU NO SUMIYAKI DON (98K) - Hands up if you’re a medium rare beef fan. Great one! GYUTAN YAKINIKU DON (98K) - Grilled beef tongue over rice served with half boiled egg, garlic chips, nori and special sauce. And hands up if you like the grilled and cooked one. Both taste great! (8/10)

    UNAGI CHIRASHI SUSHI (145K) Served with traditional japanese condiments. I’m quite fascinate to try that cold rice - unagi as it’s namely ‘chirashi’. A unique flavour but still love the hot one. Nice try! (7/10)

    UNAGI SUSHI ROLL (198K) topped with freshly grilled kabayaki style. My favorite among the other unagi dishes. Maybe because I’m a sweet tooth so I prefer unagi with the sweet soy sauce style. Love the fresh and thick - grilled unagi with balance seasoning rice. (9/10)

    SALMON NO MISO BUTTER YAKI (118K) - grilled salmon with miso butter sauce. I think that miso butter is only perfect when it match to gindara. As I pair it with salmon, the flavor combination is separate and kill each individual flavour itself. (6/10)

    TORI CHEESE TERIYAKI (78K) - house special marinated chicken topped with cheese and special sauce. A little bit unique when that cheese combines with the grilled chicken but somehow it works and taste delicious (8/10)

    The creme brulee and coffee jelly quite delicious despite that simple standard looking dish, but that yaki imo is unbeatable and soooo goood! YAKI IMO MITATE (38K) - sweet potato. I’m totally a sweet potato lover in terms of fries (savoury) or glaze caramelised (sweet one). But, I found a little bit different in here. It’s like hot sweet potato covered with ‘whatsoever’ chocolate - and it tastes fantastically delicious & comfy as well! Never missed to order this one when I come here (10/10)
