Most people have known this place as the hell (and heaven) of the super hot ala pedas mampus instant noodles! Their merciless hotness is often seek for either a fun one-time stand, a self-challenge, or maybe a reason to take a bath! Well, seriously, I watched many vloggers do the challenge and ended up having the life of their time!
Anyhow, it opened another branch near my house in Palem just today! I'm literally sitting here and slightly abused by the hotness, and I just ate the mie goreng with 50 chilies (well, I'm pretty sure that they didn't count it!) called pedas garuk (Rp 15k).
The pedas garuk was quite enough for me. It didn't make me sweat much but it successfully made my tummy hurt. Just so you know, it wasn't all that hot first and it started burning in about minutes later. I'm pretty sure that the Pedas Mampus level can make me take an instant bath of sweat and it won't be pleasant!
Well, to be honest, it wasn't good, as I expected even before coming here. This kind of joints is usually more about the fun and unique aspect rather than go with the taste. Afterall, it's just plain indomie and you can choose the level of hotness and maybe just add either eggs, kornet, and cheese.
I also ordered Pisang Bakar Cokelat Keju (Rp 12k) but they forgot to process the order. How convenient. But it was so good (and sweet)! I seriously digged it!
Place is actually pretty much a nest for mosquitoes. Just bring your own mosquitoes repellent, or maybe an electric racket for the sake of fun exercise. :P
PS. I pretty much prefer the penang char kwetiau in the same place/shop house (but different owner)!
