Wagyu Sirloin MB 7. First impression was nice. It'll always be nice to be able to choose the meat from the cold showcase. I chose medium rare wagyu sirloin mb 7 with mushroom sauce, for the record I love sirloin. For me the ratio of meat and the fat is just right. Had such high expectation from this place (I once tried seven to 7 and it set high benchmark for this kind of cafe and meatshop)
The first bite determined everything. One bite and I could tell that this place isn't that good. I ordered medium-rare and they served me medium to medium-well level. No red liquid came when I cut it and it wasn't that pink. For those who wrote this kind of problem on the review before me, I'm totally agree with you. The meat wasn't tender, it's more on the chewy side. It's either they gave me a bad quality meat or they screwed it up when they cooked it.
The fries and the mushroom sauce were so so, nothing special. I did ask to try more sauce, they do have lot of sauces (jack daniels, bbq, blackpepper, japanese, peri peri, brandy and chimichurri) it's not like I eat steak with sauce, I just wanna try it. I do prefer eating steak without any sauce.
Overall, I don't think I'll come again. Clearly I can get a lot better steak at another place. Price wise? You know my point. I don't need to write it out.
