Koi has several outlets in Jakarta, my favorite one being in Mega Kuningan. The menu is covering all sides, with European dishes, Vegetarian ones and even a great Brunch. For the meat lovers, try their raw beef Tartare, for sure the best in Jakarta. On Thursday they organize the International Aperitivo that is quite succesfull with complimentary tapas from 6pm to 7.30pm
totally overpriced for the quality of the food and the service
I had the short ribs, it was not edible. The taste was closed to burned not smoked. We order a bottle of Cotes du Rhone, and when we wanted another one they said it was their last one. For a restaurant of that nature, you would expect the waiter to tell you before you order that it is their last bottle. So he came back with a suggestion for the replacement but did not mention that the price for the replacement was exactly twice more expensive. When we found out we had to go for a South African wine that was too sweet for our food. I am not sure about the management but on that Saturday night it was pretty obvious that there was no one in charge in the room.
