Review Pelanggan untuk Bistronomy

Even though the celebration is not common, Halloween is still one of the events that you can celebrate with your friends. The costumes, the decorations, and also the foods are made to be ghost-like character and to scary all of the people. The "Trick or Treat" and the Jack-O-Lantern are two things that should be there in a Halloween party. 

It's a little bit difficult to find a restaurant / cafe that is suitable to celebrate a Halloween party in Jakarta. We decided to search all places via Pergikuliner . Finally, after long discussion, we chose Bistronomy as the right place for the Halloween party. 

Located at Senopati (near Gastromaquia), Bistronomy is a suitable place for private party. Judging from the outside, it looks like a vintage house, but kinda sppoky.

Inside, each table is separated with curtains, hence no need to worry that you might be disturbed with the others. The place is kinda a small house with spooky decoration. All of the employee wear black dresses and black suits. The dim light and the rain are so perfect, making the party even more spooky. At the right side, there is a bar with vintage touch.

I like how they decorate all parts of the restaurant with Halloween props, such as pumpkin, scary dolls, monsters' hands, gothic-look a like costumes, and many more. We had so much fun during our time at Bistronomy. 

REGULAR MENU 

1. Bistronomy Mix Platter : The tapas consists of chicken wings, fried calamari, chicken spring rolls, onion rings, and mixed salads, served with BBQ sauce and Tartar sauce. The fried foods are crispy and tasty. The chicken wings are good, as well as the spring rolls. I can finish half portion of the platter :p  

2. Aglio Olio Pasta: The smell of garlic and oregano makes me hungry. The pasta is tasty, but so spicy. It's too hot for people who can't eat spicy foods. Better to ask the waitress to decrease the chili. 

3. Carbonara Pasta: The pasta is delicious with chicken, Shimeji mushroom, egg, and creamy sauce. The 'heavy' taste of the cream will make you full. I like the taste of mixed cream and parmesan cheese. Tasty and creamy! 

4. Chicken Cordon Bleu : The battered chicken is well-seasoned and tasted so good with the sauce. The smoke beef and cheese are inside the chicken, making the dish even tastier. 

5. Chicken Steak: This si just a normal chicken steak. Grilled chicken breast is served with mixed salad and french fries. The chicken is tender, griiled- aroma, and juicy. 

HALLOWEEN'S MENU 

1. Black Fried Rice and Chicken Strips : The black fried rice is placed inside a bowl in a pumpkin. The cute 'Jack-O-Lantern' is just perfect for your Halloween party. The rice tasted delicious with calamari pieces inside the rice. The portion is quite big for just one person. 

2. Creamy Pumpkin Soup : It is also served in a small 'Jack-O-Lanter' bowl. So cute! The cream soup is actually good, but it's too cremay for me. The portion is suitable for 2-3 person for a starter. However, if you want this menu for the main course, I think the portion is just enough for 1 person. 

3. Spaghetti 'Eye' Bolognaise: The pasta is cute enough for me. The big eyes are made from boiled eggs and olive pieces. The food stylist is so creative to make an ordinary dish to be extraordinary! The taste is just like a regular bolognaise, not so sour (so good for me) and beefy. 

4. Spider Lava Cake : For the dessert, the lava cake is decorated as a cute spider! So creative! The choco lava is best eaten whilst it's still hot. I tried this cake when it's already cold, so I couldn't give a valid review for this menu. 

5. Finger Chocolate Mousse : Consists of chocolate mousse, creme, strawberry jam, and chocolate garnish. This is my favorite dessert in Bistronomy. The fingers are made from biscuit, strawberry jam, and almond pieces. So cute and kinda a scary for us, though. 

Overall, Bistronomy is a perfect place for celebrating Halloween party. The ambience and the decorations are so nice and spooky. Dark and few of light. The foods are delicious and the price is still affordable, slightly pricey for some people. The service is fast and nice. I really enjoyed spending my time with my girls, celebrating the best Halloween party ever!
