It was my grandfather's birthday and one of my relatives brought a big cake--Red Velvet Nougat when I checked the menu--from Clairmont as well as some boxes of Cheese Brownies.
As to the birthday cake, the taste was just so good I forgot to take a picture of it. The sweet red velvet cake and the crunchy nougat are just impeccable. The texture was soft and not too dry and you won't feel you've had too much of it.
My astonishment didn't stop there. The cheese brownies (Rp80.000++) are likewise commendable. Tasting thin cheese layer on nicely moist brownies, you can't get enough with one or two bites.
However, prices, one needs to admit, are on the higher list, but it's totally worth it to add Clairmont to your to-go list of patisseries. Their claim of using top quality ingredients turns out not to be a mere slogan.
