Authentic Japanese resto in West Jakarta. Foods were okay but missing the wow factor for me. Pretty decent option for lunch or dinner around the area.

Buta Mayo Don (55k) 6.5/10
This was recommended to me but I think I should have asked them to separate the sauce as it was drowning in mayo. Pork slices by themselves were actually pretty great so maybe I should have ordered the buta don sans the mayo.

Sake Chazuke (46k) 7/10
A hearty, comforting dish. Much bigger portion than expected. I would say that the broth, like pretty much all the other dishes here, tasted rather strongly of msg.

Yaki Onigiri (27k) 7.5/10
Crispy exterior with that nice burnt texture, soft and fluffly rice inside. This one is basic but quite great.

Kushiyaki 6/10
Tried the Jyo Tan/Tongue (40k), Momo/Thigh (26k), Enoki Bacon (46k), Ton Toro/Pork Jowl (28k), Kimo/Liver (18k), and Tsukune (40k). Decent kushiyaki but not my favourite…. Best was the Jyo Tan. Highly dislike the tsukune since there was some cartilage inside.

Gyutan Hamburg (70k) 5/10
Served cold for some reason? Missing that nice charred exterior and juiciness insides. Tasted bland as well.
