How do I even start? 8 Treasures group , noodle dish , an empty stomach , 1.5 hours of traffic jam. Expecting our meal to be at least decent.

If you ever tried 8 Treasures hot pot , you must have aware on how high their standard is. + saw a lot of hype from those famous influencers, so we gave it try ourselves 😉

What a big let down of a dish 🤮 A noodle house that screwed up their noodle is just a big NO. Was very undercooked, can almost feel the unpleasant floury texture. It just stuck on your teeth on each bite 🙄😞

Its basically very similar to yamien with a very dominant sweet taste and few slices of torched pork belly.

🙋‍♂️ is a very big fan of noodle, and he simply hated this one. According to 🙋‍♂️, its the bottom 3 noodle he has ever eaten. Says it all. Sorry 8T 🙏 No hate , just an honest opinion.

An ok dish. Slightly better than the dry one. I mean you cant messed up noodle soup huh? Their soup uses no MSG, so the flavor is mainly from the beef stock. Very similar to the usual 8 Treasures' soup that are very rich and fragrant. There 4 soup options: Collagen , Mala-Collagen, Prawn Collagen , and Braised Beef Broth.

The only problem was that the soup wasnt hot enough. It was just barely warm 😔😢

As expected from their wonton, its GOOD. Very meaty and fresh with the fillings of prawn and chicken. The chilli vinegar is a nice compliment. Wasnt too spicy and more on the sweet side 😍

Overall, idk if this was just a bad batch of foods, but for us it was a big disappointment coming from @8treasuresjkt group. Hopefully only a bad batch tho, a fan of their hotpot 😊🤩

Service wise, it was just so so. Asked for chilli oil , the server said they only got chilli sauce. Pretty sure they have one 😑. Asked for cold ocha refill, they gave hot ocha. Not a significant mistake, but surely a big room for improvement 💓💓💓
