Offering more affordable arrays of seafood than its main competitor (F&C), Manhattan Fish Market does not fail to serve as delicious food as that of F&C. In fact, some may prefer to have a seafood feast here with many selections of sharing platter and flaming platters.
With my other 5 friends, we ordered Fried Giant and Superstar Line Up. Noteworthy to know is that one portion of sharing platter can cater for 2-3 patrons. This is not the case if you are a big eater. As to the taste, most of the fried items are nice, yet we found the mussels rather tangy and fishy--still edible though. The rice was also a bit overcooked--a bit mushy somehow. Despite this, one can't deny that the dipping sauces (especially the one with green colour) will be the main saving grace here.
But wait, a restaurant can't be good without cordial service. How I remember the foul and disinterested face of the waitress who took ur orders! Even when we tried to be friendly, she didn't even smile. Luckily, some servers were still better.
