If you are Truffle lovers, you should come and dine here because Momozen is the heaven of Truffle! You can enjoy view of Jakarta from 46th floor as well! Magnifique!
Here for dinner with foodie friends, we had some of Momozen’s signature dishes:
- To-Morokoshi Soup (IDR 80,000)
Creamy Corn Soup, Charred Cauliflowers Bits, Charred Corn, Charred Baby Corn, Carrot, Radish, Nori Powder.
Corn Soup is thick and creamy, tastes sweet. Veggies are soft yet crisp. Nori Powder makes it more delish!
- Truffle Somen with Caviar (IDR 80,000)
Chilled Japanese Somen, Truffle Kombu (Truffle Dried Seaweed), Caviar, Gold Leaf.
Japanese Somen is cooked with Truffle Kombu and served chill, so fragrant! On top are Caviar and Gold Leaf. Mix it all together before eat. SOOO GOOOOOOD!
- Truffle Donabe Gohan (IDR 320,000)
Momozen Signature Fresh Truffle Rice, served in Japanese Claypot which takes 30 minutes of preparation. The Chef will come to your table and shred Fresh Truffle on top of the Rice. You can add on extra Fresh Truffle for IDR 30,000 / 100 Gram. Mix the Rice and Truffle with Momozen Homemade Pickles, DELIGHTFULLLL!
- Shiogama Beef (IDR 340,000)
200 Gram of Grilled Australian Wagyu Rib-Eye in Salt Crust Dome.
The Meat is so so so so tender and juicy! There are 6 choices of Japanese Condiments, our favourite are Butter Soyu and Truffle Kombu, spread both on top of the Meat, it is definitely TO DIE FOR! The Salt Crust Dome is ah-may-zing!
- Baby Chic Truffle Rice (IDR 380,000)
Charcoal Grilled Whole Baby Chicken Stuffed with Truffle Butter Rice.
The Whole Baby Chicken will be cut into pieces and topped with Fresh Truffle. The Chicken Meat is so clean, soft, tender, and juicy, the Chicken Skin is sooo thin and crisp. Last but not least, the Truffle Butter Rice, OH SO GOOD!
