Got a chance to try Sunday Bruch at Rosso Shangrila, for those of you who wondering, Rosso consecutively won best Italian Restaurant according to Indonesian Tatler Magazine, so to be able to dine in and enjoying their Sunday Brunch, I was indeed super excited. Sunday brunch rate at rosso is starting at IDR 490++ to IDR 1378++ depends on the beverages you decided to choose.
I had the 490++ incl juice, mineral water, and soft drink, for the rate that they offers, I personally think it was worth every pennies, since you are not only able to enjoy many of their buffet selections but also you can order their ala carte menu as many as you wishes.
Below I will shortly explain their ala carte ayce menu:
Uova alla Frnaco – black bun with poached eggs and salmon tar tar served with truffle hollandaise sauce. The bun was super moist and all the filling taste super yummy and fresh.
- Uova Strapazzate – Ciabatta bread with scrambled egg, Pecorino Cheese, Rocket served with Black Truffle Paste and Red Pesto. This one is also taste very nice and great.
- Uova al Prosciutto – Toasted soft bun with Fried Egg, Parma ham and sautéed Parmesan Spinach. The spinach was fresh and the bun was perfectly moist.
- Franco’s Panino – Focaccia Bread with Fresh Tomato, Rocket salad, Mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese, served with Pesto Sauce.
- Spaghetti Polpa di Granchio E Acciughe – Spaghetti with Crabmeat and Ancovies served with Fennel Sauce and Spicy Bread Crumbs. Love this pasta a lot, the pasta was super al dente yet all the topping was fresh and nice.
- Filetto di Manzo – Beef Tenderloin and Foie Gras served with Sauteed Parmesan Spinach and Gorgonzola Sauce. The foie gras was super nice it is indeed melt in my mouth, super good, and I can surely eat lots portion of it.
- Agnolotti di Bufala E Pesto – Homemade Agnolotti filled with Buffalo Mozzarella served with Basil Pesto sauce – the pasta was again super al dente, nice presentation as well as has great taste.
- Filetto di Cernia – Grouper fish fillet in Mediterranean Tomato Sauce served with sautéed mixed vegetable. I love this dish so much, the fish was super moist and buttery yet the seasoning and veggie taste super fresh and nice.
Other than their ala carte ayce, we can also enjoy their tremendous buffet sections, the sections was consist of lots of seafood section (from lobster, oyster, king prawn) cold appetizer, like salad and smoked beef salmon etc, pasta section, roast beef and pork section, soup of the day, as well as ice cream and dessert, I surely not be able to describe each of their buffet section, for those who are wondering, please see pictures that I attached.
Sunday brunch at Rosso is 100% recommended it was worth every pennies, and all of the food that they served was super satisfying and the service and hospitality was above 5 stars
