I’m not a type of a nightlife person, so i didn’t go to the bar cafè that much. @thefoolsjakarta is a new cafè and bar at Foundry no. 8 at SCBD. We went here on afternoon, so it’s a bit quiet. They allow all the visitor to smoke, which is personally i didn’t like. But the place is actually quite great, and clean. We ordered some foods; Crispy Duck Rice, came in a great portion, surprisingly it’s good. The crispy duck is salty and savoury, also the sambal matah and urap as the siders. We also had Black Ink Seafood Pasta, which i don’t like at all, because they didnt ask us what kind of pasta we wanted and they said it’s cooked in black ink squid, but i think it’s just an ordinary black coloured tagliatalle🙂. And for the drinks, we had iced coffee and ice chocolate because they didn’t have any beverages like mocktail etc.

Afterall, their foods are just okay to me. But i didn’t respect with the waiter’s service. They’re like underestimating of what we ordered, seems like we cannot pay them. Also their menus aren’t complete yet. it’s actually okay to me, but they hadn’t great communication with the kitchen. We cancelled our orders for 3 times because they said it’s not available yet. There’s should be a coordination there! Hoping they read my review here, and improving their service there.
