Once you arrived at Bellagio Boutique Mall you can easily find this restaurant straight from the entrance door. The Royal Kitchen is designed in such a way that you would feel a luxury vibes from the place: plenty of dangling carpets, hanging lamps, and, of course, the scents of Dupa धूप.

Love the scents!!

❤️❤️❤️ Cozy and traditional ambiances are what make this place a perfect eatery for Indian community around to dine.

 I'll start with the drinks.

1. Thandai.

A traditional drink that basically milk. It tasted sweet! It had pistachio, almond and saffron on it. I LOVVEEED the flavor.

2. Butter Milk.

My friend repeatedly asked me "are you sure you want to try this?" (the butter milk) and I was like "It's okay, gimme a try". And yes, the taste was so unique. I never had that kind of milk before. It was so sour with a spicy ending. This butter milk had chili flakes on it. What an adventure.

 And now...it's time for foods!!

3. Naan Butter

OMG.

Best naan in my life so far. It tasted like no other Naan Butter I had in my experience. This one was so buttery yet crispy and chewy at the same time. SUPER ENDES pokoknya.

4. Murgh Makhani (Butter Chicken)

This rich, buttery, creamy chicken needs no introduction. This one was also Indian cuisine's most loved curry, I guess. I bet Murgh Makhani that is served can be a measuring tool to judge the food quality of any Indian restaurants. If a restaurant cannot whip up a good Murgh Makhani, it means that restaurant will not leave you satisfied. And the Murgh Makhani here? It was so good. So creamy!! I gasped at the amount of cream in it. It also had a balance of tanginess and velvety texture. MILUVV

5. Lamb Burra

Cuts of mutton with special marinating and it was cooked in a tandoor. Lamb Burra was the champion for me. I basically loooove lamb, but this one was lit. It has a unique taste (but slightly reminded me of bumbu ayam bakar padang lol) – juicy, spicy, very robust taste & flavor. RECOMMENDED!

6. Bhartha

The special one. If Dina didn't tell me the ingredients of this cuisine, I would never have realized it made from eggplant. I was surprised and then, right after that, I loved its simplicity and taste. Bhartha is better served as a side dish :)

★★★★

Overall, this place is gonna stay in my heart as the one of the highlighted non-Indonesian restaurants in South Jakarta. The ambiance was heartwarming. The waiters swarm around your table, spooning never-ending servings of rich flavors of Indian cuisines onto your thali थाली (plate). And the good news is...for weekdays, they have lunch buffet packages (great deals!!!). Leave your table? Never.

MUST TASTE :

- Butter Milk

- Lamb Burra

- Murgh Makhani

- Naan Butter

 - Any menu that contains butter in it ☺️☺️☺️
