Review Pelanggan untuk The Social Pot

First timer having to eat here at The Social Pot, i was excited to try this recently opened restaurant in Lotte Shopping Avenue. We had pretty much ordered most of the recommended food starting with Set Menu B, Beef Platter, US Prime Black Angus Hanging Beef, Special Meatball Platter, Mixed Wonton, drinks such as mixed berries and crysanthemum drink.
Set Menu B comes with 1 selection of soup based ( we picked the chicken collagen soup as our based soup) but i also ordered extra signature mala soup seperately because i was curious to try one. I prefer the chicken collagen soup rather than the mala, less spicy and more juicy. The set menu also comes with a lot of beef on top of it such as hanging US beef, imported marinated short ribs, saikoro wagyu steak, US prime black angus shabu beef, homemade cheese beefballs, fish paste, wontons, and mixed vegetables. Pretty much is enough for two persons eating normally. We can either grill or shabu the beef with the given dipping sauce, i love this sauce, combination of chilli and a lot of other spices, makes the meat more enjoyable and juicy to be eaten.
Also try their garlic fried rice, rather unique one than having a plain rice according to me. You can feel the garlic spiced on the rice very nice and yummy!
I prefer the black angus hanging beef we ordered seperately than the US hanging beef we got from the set menu, more juicy and tender!
Beef platter is also a must try (includes 3 types of a rather high quality beef) -not included in the set menu.
Another recommendation for me, is to order the special meatball platter (6 pcs), of beef, chicken and prawn (out of the set menu, set menu only gives you few meatballs, the same goes to wonton) very nice. I prefer the meatball over the wonton. Wonton is kinda salty in taste when i tried it.
We are supposed to eat their ala carte menu (crispy sichuan chicken) we had ordered it but it did not come until we have finished our food, and later found out that the staff did not enter our order for this, too bad we are full already so we cancel it.
As for desserts, we had the Wrecking Bar (dark chocolate caramel sauce bar and vanilla ice cream) and Dance Monkey (banana caramel pudding and chocolate ice cream). Pretty great dessert to conclude our meal that day. Another mistake from the staff i was actually ordering Let’s Go To The Beach instead of Dance Monkey, but they served Dance Monkey instead lol
Everything else is good, we enjoyed our meal but the staff service are kinda slow and less attentive. I got 2 orders wrongly served from my visit.
