The one where we had All-You-Can-Eat buffet bbq dinner at @niku.sby . I've been waiting for a while to lay my hands (chopsticks) on these bad boys. For IDR 95k (around AU$8) you get 90 minutes to fill your tummy up. Not a bad deal for me to have once in a while.
The star of the show gotta be the sliced meats, although that's not the case for me. Meat just tastes like, well, meat. Grilled meat. You gotta play with the seasoning and all to elevate the taste of these meat cuts, as commonly practiced in AYCE restaurants everywhere.
I like their fried shiu-mais (siomay goreng), surprisingly it doesn't taste too doughy hence you can have 2 or 3 of them without feeling to stuffy. Kimchi also saved the day, it does its job very well to cleanse your palate up after those fatty, meaty feast. Sliced garlic and onions are there to save the day, have them sauteed with your meat (no pun intended. Swear to gods), or have them raw for the crunchiness and sweetness. Add some kimchi then Wrap them in a lettuce leaf. Yum. Just yum. Binge watching that korean series about a foodie/insurance agent turns out to be useful and not just a waste of my free time.
After few grilling session your pan/whatever we call it, will get ugly and sticky. You can ask them to replace it and they will happily do it for you. Don't forget to thank the waiter, it's not difficult.
They do have rice and garlic rice on the buffet, sushi rolls, fried battered dory pieces (i chose chix karaage, i prefer the chicken version), free flow iced tea, veggies, condiments, all you need to do is literally just pick your poison.

Eye of round 9+ AUS Chuck tender 9+ AUS Untuk dua jenis daging di atas, saya kurang bisa ngerasain bedanya bagaimana, enak aja sih. Nggak keras. Cukup juicy...
Karubi Nah kalo karubi ini dagingnya lebih berlemak dan yang beelemak itu memang jadi favorit saya sih... jadi yaaa enak-enak aja.
Ox-tongue Lidahnya diiris tipis-tipis, jadi nggak terlalu berasa.
Hambagu don Menu don disini tergolong murah, dagingnya juga enak dan banyak.
Garlic Shitake Nah untuk garlic dan shitake ini, menurut saya paling enak kalo kita minta pihak resto untuk manggang di kitchen mereka. Karena kompor yang disediakan untuk customer nggak terlalu panas, jadi kalk dimasak sendiri bakal lama n nggak mateng-mateng.
Overall, makan daging di niku tergolong murah yah, hanya saja saya kurang suka dengan ketipisan dagingnya (mending agak mahal dikit tapi lebih tebel, jadi lebih juicy gitu rasanya). Nah yang unik adalah kompornya, beda dengan bbq jepang lainnya, pake kompor kecil dan arang gitu. Coba cek fotonya ya...
