Hanging out with fellow foodies last Sunday at Akira Back. As always, we order lots and lots of food 😆

First we had Tuna Pizza which is Akira Back signature menu. I'm telling you that this is to die for, the ratio of the tuna and the dough is so perfect! Nothing is being less or being too much. I can eat the whole plate myself hahaha. Then we had Salmon Aburi, thin sliced salmon with ginger sesame oil and yuzu soy. We also order Hirame Carpaccio, slices of Halibut sashimi with nanbazu sauce. The halibut is so fresh and doesn't smell.

Still in appetizer round, we had UnaQ. The unagi is so yummy, and the balsamic teriyaki just make it even perfect. The Popcorn Shrimp is one of their signature too. Crispy from the outside, tender on the inside. Yummy and so much flavor! Other than that, we also had AB Tacos, which are good as well. They use wagyu kalbi for the toppings, and the juice from the meat dripping down my hands. I'm all out for this dish! Fingers licking good!

More foods came afterwards! Oxtail Bun. Taste good too, more like a twisted traditional Indonesian food. Crispy rice, the tuna with crispy rice drizzled in cajun sauce is super yummy. Another dish to die for!

Another tuna dish that we had was Perfect Storm. Combination of spicy tuna and salmon belly aburi, it's like party in my mouth. Last but not lease, we had Brother from Another Mother. Holy! The unagi and foie gras melt perfectly in my mouth, buttery and so smooth.

And it didn't stop there! 48 Hours Wagyu Short Ribs that we ordered is so tender and moist. As well as the Porterhouse, coffee rubbed steak. Last main course was Jidori Chicken. The chicken meat is so tender, served with truffled potato puree and extra shaved black truffle on the top. This is beyond my expectation!

And for the dessert round, we had a very refreshing Yuzu Granita with popping bubbles and coconut foam. Sweet and sour, all in one plate.

This resto is beyond my expectation! Worth every pennies that we've spent. Can't wait to come back again with my beloved ones.
