Why you will love it ❤ 1. Great deal for dim sum considering the price. 2. We loveee the Gao Zi. They add coriander here now (from our last visit they seem to not add it). Yeay!!! Though I wish they could be a tad bit more generous 😉. Genuinely think that the coriander adds a beautiful layer of flavour you cannot get anywhere else. 3. Ha Kau is a classic, and they make good Ha Kau. Not the best we have tried, but definitely one of the good ones especially considering the price.
What could be improved 🙏 Gao Zi here somehow the sauce is not too thick. I do prefer the sauce to be not too watery because that's where the flavour comes in and portion seems to be smaller compared to other branches.

What could be improved 🙏 Consistency of taste. In general, the Imperial Kitchen has pretty decent taste in Lebak Bulus. However, the Gao zi did not have little pieces of coriander on the sauce which elevates and refreshed the dish when I visited. The kwetiau also lacked seasoning, although they are not as oily as usual. Even though it is understandable it is the fasting month and sometimes taste may vary a bit (though I visited after iftar), would be better if the Gao zi still has bits of coriander and the kwetiau has that kick they usually have. The spicy, savory and sweetness all coming together. I have visited this place on non-Ramadhan days, and the dishes all tasted fine.

Makan siang barbar setelah dan sebelum kembali melanjutkan meeting. Beberapa kali siang-siang ke Imperial Kitchen di beberapa cabang, selalu rame dengan para pekerja kantoran lagi pada lunch break. Gak heran sih soalnya makanannya enak, harganya pocket friendly, servicenya pun cepat.
- Kwetiaw Goreng Seafood dengan Saus XO Kwetiaw Gorengnya kenyal, Seafoodnya ada potongan Udang, Ikan, dan Cumi, Sayurnya ada Toge dan Paprika, Saus XOnya enak banget meresap banget ke Kwetiaw dan Seafoodnya. Level pedasnya sedang alias kalo di menu gambar Cabenya 1.
- Nasi Goreng Buntut dengan Sambal Nasi Goreng dengan potongan Buntut. Walaupun disajikan di piring kecil tapi percayalah ngabisinnya membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. Level pedasnya pedas alias kalo di menu gambar Cabenya 2.
- Mie dengan Bebek Panggang Jenis Mienya yang tipis dan keriting, enak! Potongan Bebek Panggangnya cukup banyak, dagingnya empuk dan tasty!
Jarang-jarang belanja bulanan di Carrefour Lebak Bulus, sekalinya kesana baru tau kalo disana ada Imperial Kitchen. Tempatnya ga begitu besar, waktu aku dateng sih ga begitu rame.
Aku pesen kwetiaw goreng dengan daging sapi, fong zau sama siew mai rumput laut. Kwetiaw goreng sapinya menurut aku rasanya lumayan, ada rasanya. Tapi terlalu berminyak, terlalu manis & gelap kaya kebanyakan kecap. Yg bikin juara sih daging sapinya enak & empuk. Siew mai rumput lautnya yg agak ngecewain. Agak hambar, cuma berasa rumput lautnya aja. Nah, yg juara banget itu fong zau alias dimsum ceker nya. Rasanya pas gurih enak, ga kemanisan ga keasinan. Daging cekernya juga empuk dan lepas sendiri dimulut.
