Kaum Jakarta Ramadan Buffet with theme "Pasar Papringan Go(w)es to Kaum" (IDR 185.000++)

They serve us takjil selection, traditional appetizers, dessert, fruits, combination of dishes and traditional drink with buffet style.

I've tried their lesah ayam taste like soto but their chicken broth very rich without coconut milk. Their Kolak labu kolang kaling tasted pretty good for me, sweetness level fit for me and kolang kaling tasted good cooked and not too soft. Their bakwan just cooked and tasted good with peanut sauce Their herbal tea tasted good too and refreshing. I tried their unique dessert named "bajingan" mean bastard, it's traditional food from cassava cooked with brown sugar (this one tasted like my mom's cooking). And my favorite their kue lapis, the sticky rice taste really nice, cooked well with coconut milk and looks pretty with a pink coat on it, very tasteful!

For the main course we tried their ngadimulyo and temanggung. First i want to inform you that their restaurant carrying sharing type. So if you come in two or more, your meal will came in one plate for every dish. But i order diffrent menu with my sister so here we are with 2 different plate.

Ngadimulyo served with sate bumbu kacang, ikan goreng bumbu pesmol, buncis obrak abrik, kerupuk and nasi putih. I really like their rice, cooked well and not plain tasted like uduk rice a little bit. I really like their ikan goreng bumbu pesmol in this main course. The marinade seeped perfectly on the fish and perfected with basil leaves(kemangi) and pete, but if you dont like pete i've a good news the smell of the pete doesn't seep on the fish.

Temanggung served with sate buntel acar rujak, plecing kangkung, ikan goreng sambal kecombrang, kerupuk and nasi putih. I really like their plecing kangkung in this main course combination, the lombok style chili relish, shrimp paste and bleached water spinach mixed really well, one of the best plecing kangkung i've tried

Over all i like all of their courses, very authentic, fresh and the spice is very pronounced. The service very excellent, they informed their food well. Their place very comfy and feel like home. I can spend more than 3 hours to enjoy my meal and chit chat with my friends or family
