Finally tried one of those hype Boba Cakes out there 🍰
But honestly, I don’t know but it did not WOW me as I expected it too.

First of all, the brown sugar sauce tasted just sweet with a little hint of brown sugar. Boba was just another normal, chewy boba. Cake tasted plain, it was just like a sweet chiffon cake.

In conclusion, I did not feel like it tasted as 1 whole piece of goodness — it felt like they tossed 3 different ingredients into one without considering its wholeness.

I’m so sorry.....
But at least you can still eat it, though the 2 of us didn’t finish the cake, and it was pretty small for the price...
