Why you will love it ❤
1. THE CUMI HITAM IS GOOOOOOD. It is cooked to perfection and seasoning is on point. Soft and not too chewy. Plus the taste of squid is not too fishy which is a plus. Also some people seem to complain on how the squid is not served hot... But this is how it is typically served in Surabaya/Malang, but the rice is warm so it is all good!
2. The clams are well-cooked although it does have the very slight fishy taste, that is usually how they are. It has a more dominant sweet taste.
3. You get lots of other components of the dish like srundeng, sambal, noodles and peyek. The sambal has quite a kick, but since the squid is already beautiful without the sambal I ended up ignoring the sambal a bit as it would ruin the already perfect squid.
4. Lots of fintech payment options available.

What could be improved 🙏
1. It is on the pricey side. 45K for a plate of squid with clams (although there are other side dishes that come along with it). As long as they do not change the quality and quantity, this is still worth it when you want to spend a bit more for good cumi hitam.
2. This is located in an outdoor area food court, so do not expect an air conditioned room.
