After invitation from Lewis and Caroll, we agreed to try the newest Indonesian resto which just opened today. This balinese resto is under boga group management so kinda of promosing.
Located on the 5th Floor and the area used to be Urban Kitchen so you can imagine how big is the resto. Love the ambience which mostly using dark wood however lighting quite dark so hard to take a good picture here.
For 4 of us we ordered:
- bebek betutu set 4/5 (235K): big portion for 3-4 pax because one whole duck plus a bowl of lawar corn vegs, traditional balinese clear soup and 3 kinds of chilli sauce. Duck was very tender, well seasoned and because so tender you can even eat some of the bones. However lack of spiciness otherwise I'll give full mark but understandable because this resto also cater for expats who like to eat indonesian foods but not too spicy.
- sate lilit ikan 4.5/5 (65K): very delicious, tender, can taste the fish and well marinated.
- rujak udang jeruk bali 5/5 (59K): Highly recommended. One of the best rujak I ate so far and all the ingridients there were fresh and good quality. Will be back for this surely.
Service was very good too. Well managed, staffs are well trained .... they quite good at product knowledge, professional, friendly and quite good at responding eventhough they were some errors but still understandable.
My only critic is there was no opening promotion whatsoever and definitely not many exposure in the sosmed. I found out because I was happened to walk pass the resto.
