Sudah menanti lama untuk mencoba dessert satu ini. Perpaduan hangatnya cookies yang sensasinya kaya lava cake ditambah es krim pilihan kita, bener-bener sensasi unik di lidah sih ni.

Kebetulan yang kami pesan, matcha lava cookie with choco banana dan chocolate cookie with melon ice cream. Yang paduan matcha dan choco banana ternyata rasa eskrimnya jadi overpowered di mulut. Sedangkan kombinasi melon dan chocolate cookies berhasil banget, es krim melonnya super delicious dipadu sama simpelnya cookies cokelat, perfection!

Tempatnya jg hari biasa engga rame dan pewe jadi enak banget buat ngobrol/diskusi penting.

# chocolate lava cookies with yuzu ice cream (didn’t come out as they’re running out of the dough, as the last dough broken)

They told me cookies preparation is 15 minutes but it came out 45 minutes, till the latte was cold and they didn’t have my chocolate lava I cookie as every time they tried to bake it, it broke and the lava melted. They also mistakenly mixed up my order, the matcha came out with yuzu ice cream instead of the chocolate banana ice cream. To make it up, they give me free chocolate banana ice cream on a side.

Matcha cookies was good, gooey style of dough, soft bake cookie style. The chocolate liquid inside melted out (though it wasn’t exactly looked like what they post on Instagram). The chocolate banana ice cream was good. Yuzu ice cream was more on the sweet side rather than sour tangy taste.

We were the only patrons here (Saturday 4 pm) though the owner or the person in charge were available they didn’t seem to care if there are customers waiting for a long time.

Kinda disappointed with the latte as i was expecting a cute latte art like the one they posted on Instagram. Coffee itself was standard.

Located on the second floor, you have to pass through the Warung Bali Bu Gede on a first floor then go up the stairs. The place was cozy and totally different from the tenant on the first floor.

Will try to go back again for the chocolate lava cookie when I have lots of time to spare. Hopefully they will fix the dough problems or else people will come there and disappointed.
