Review Pelanggan untuk Sushi Joobu

Came here for dinner, because my sister suggested it. I saw some pretty good ratings about this place, and there were quite a few great reviews about it as well, so my siblings and I decided to go there. The ambience was fine (I would've prefered some soothing Japanese music instead of "See You Again"), the service was fine, and I didn't have any problems with it at all. The waiters were fine, they paid much attention to us, and it didn't take long for the food to get served, which is a good thing, because I was starving. The food was actually good. They had fresh sashimi, their sushi was fine (I like this compared to Sushi Tei, although I must say, they really need to fix their california roll), and I like how they give their sushi little twists and still pull off the whole gig. I personally love their "Joobu Sushi". But, I'm going to have to say no to their price. To me, this place is seriously overpriced for their quality of food. I was served so-so quality food, but the numbers on my check begged to differ. It was like I was in a high class restaurant. I've been to other sushi shops, and I paid cheaper for more food (they also had better tasting fish). I'm a student, and if I were to have dinner here on my own, I would be in their kitchen washing their dishes now. Good thing my sister was with me. I didn't feel like this restaurant lived up to my expectations, and it doesn't deserve all that hype in the reviews section. Overall, it was an ok food experience. Environment ok, food ok, price? Not so ok. This restaurant is more of the "I came here because I happened to be passing by" kind of thing. If only I hadn't read the reviews, I wouldn't know there was a Sushi Joobu. But, even the reviews had sugar coated words in them. So to all my fellow student friends, I suggest you go to some other japanese restaurant if you want to get a bite of some japanese food while saving your pockets as well.
