O verall the food was okay. Very nice presentation with the house, the stair and the duck spoon. Very instagramable. 

Saikoro steak was delicious and melt in your mouth.

Truffle gyudon also tasty and the meat was succulent.

Bara chirashi was also good, the fish was fresh, the sushi rice was tasty.

   I give them rating of 3.5 ONLY because of the food. But not for the disappointment of finding out that there are price discrepancies between the menu and the final bill. Unfortunately the bill that was printed on thermal paper has lost the ink. But hope some of you could get a glimpse on the discrepancies.

I went to the restaurant on the last day of their soft opening promo (20% discount) and when i wrote this which was 3 weeks later, i just realized the discrepancies of the pricing on some of the items.

   1. Ika Geso tempura on the menu was only 38 while i was charged for 45
2. Scallop aburi mayo of 38, charged for 48.
3. Beef yakimeshi for 50 and got charged for 60
4. Spider roll for 35, got charged for 48
5. Ebi tempura roll for 40 got charged for 48
6. Bara chirashi for 98, charged for 108
7. Special matsu aburi sushi mori of 158. Got charged for 168 

If you count them all, it seems the 20% discount was not a discount after all. Out of 13 items we ordered, more than half were mispriced.

Yes of course with the 20% discount, some of the menu is still cheaper than the original price in the menu. Or perhaps they increase the price due to several reasons, sudden increase in the price of their ingredients or may be the menu was not updated (i just find it odd for a brand new restaurant that has sudden increase in their price) 

I  need to be careful next time. I just only checked the order and it was correct, but I didn’t remember the price of each item.

Well, lessons learned. There’s always a first time for everything (Out of my hundreds trips to restaurants here and abroad )
