Review Pelanggan untuk The Cafe - Hotel Mulia

Last Thursday I was really starving and fortunately I was invited to a lunch at The Cafe, Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta. The Cafe is not the only restaurant in this hotel, so make sure to ask the exact place of this resto. There were many other customers when we arrived. The lunch time sure is a perfect time for buffet anyway. So here's some thing I tried at The Cafe: 

1. Sushi and Sashimi 
: sushi and sashimi booth is obviously the first place I go to whenever I'm in a buffet restaurant. The salmon sashimi is fresh, loving the tuna tataki eventho the black pepper really burned my tounge LOL. the other sushis were also good, there were some fushion sushi too but weren't looked too tempting except the one with salmon and mayonaise on top. 
2. Dim Sum 
: the dim sum option was not much so I took Hakau, Siew May and the one which was wrapped with nori. Tastes okay but nothing special. 
3. Grilled Tenderloin Steak : I chose gravy sauce for my steak. The steak was tender but less juicy than I expected. The gravy sauce was good but without a juicy beef, you just can't enjoy a steak fully. 
4.Mini Chicken Pie, Grilled Salmon & French Fries 
: I LOVE the mini chicken pie! The grilled salmon had a good taste too. And the french fries was very crispy and well seasoned. A perfect carbs gainer! 
5. Pesto Pasta with Salmon 
: I actually expect more savoury pesto sauce. The smell of the basil was really tempting but I think it was less salt. The salmon for the topping was in the right amount and delicious tho :) 
6. Oyster 
: WOW this was my first time trying out oyster! The waiters recommended me to use their favourite sauce and it turns out tasted okay. I mean the smell was a bit fishy but the texture didn't as creepy as it seems! 
7. Coffee Jelly 
: I tried this because one of my friend tried it and recommended it to me. The jelly texture was unique and the coffee was strong. They put milk on top of this dessert to make the coffee a bit softer. Honestly this one worth the try because of the unique texture and tasty. 
8. Raspberry and cheese mousse 
: it looked tremendeously tempting. Raspberry and cheese indeed is a good match. One of the other must try in The Cafe! 
9. Creme Brulee 
: you can choose whether you want chocolate or vanilla creme brulee. Mine was vanilla and they will finish the upper layer after you ordered. I love this one, a very good dessert to end a series of feast in my lunch that day. The upper layer was perfect hard so you will get another pleasure time cracking it and have it along with a very soft and tasty creme brulee in your mouth

The Cafe at Mulia Hotel costs about IDR 350k/pax for their buffet menu. That price wasn't include drink though, so you have to order it. For the beverages I ordered the favourite lychee iced tea (recommended by the waiter) that costs IDR 75k per glass. The glass was really tall which of course a very fit amount for buffet. However, I did not recommend this lychee ice tea because it was tasteless, less sugar, and obviously not worth the price

They have a good service standard on the waiters, great, beautiful & spacey area and quite various cuisine. So do not hesitate to stop by here and have a great lunch. They also open for dinner, and even Sunday brunch.
