I saw that this cake had gotten rave reviews from several food bloggers and was keen to try this. However, it ended up being the worst union cake I’ve ever tried, as the nougat crumble I received was very bitter (I suspect that they infused too much alcohol). Even disregarding this fact, for me this carrot cake doesn’t suit my tastebud as there are too many walnuts and cream cheese inside. I do like how strong the spices are though. Overall it was okay but hardly anything to hype about.
