Why you will love it ❤
1. So many sambal to choose from! I particularly like the sambal mangga best, it’s refreshing but not too spicy. More on the sweet side though. Sambal Ijo Candu was like a typical sambal hijau, nothing special. Sambal MK was spicy but to the point that it was numbing, though the sambal is not too distinct in taste. The bumbu hitam from Bebek Kepahiang for me was okay, but not great. You can taste the anise star which was what made it different.
2. I like the ambience here. The place is spacious, plenty of parking also available. It’s a laid back place and you can have a nice convo here.

What could be improved 🙏
1. The restaurant is on the pricier side compared to the quality.
2. Bakwan jagung’s flavour could be improved. It was not salty, sweet or anything in particular. A bit bland unfortunately :’)
3. The nasi uduk is not too special. Personally, I think the whole meal goes better with plain rice so the true taste is highlighted. Also the nasi uduk was too soft and mushy, not the kind of nasi uduk I prefer and they were not too generous with the fried onions.
4. Hygiene when serving food could be improved. The waitress served the food and I can see her hand almost touching the sayur asam. Maybe serve the sayur asam with a small plate to ensure the waiter/waitresses does not have to touch the hot plate and also just as important the sayur asam. But the good thing is the place itself is clean.
