Review Pelanggan untuk Madagaskar

Had a dinner at Madagaskar today with some friends.
Madagaskar is a spacious restaurant with a unique jungle-theme. The restaurant has 2 floor, this time we got the table on the 1st floor and haven't visit the 2nd floor, well, maybe next time..  :D
I love the ambience, the decoration is unique, and detail, a lot of spot to take photos.

Food, on the other hand was just okay and a little pricey.
The menu that i ordered for my dinner were:

1. Mammals baked rice (3.5 of 5)

It is a plate of baked rice with fried breaded beef. Actually when i heard the beef is breaded and fried, i'm not so excited, i ordered it because i don't know what to order. But it turned out to be quite satisfying, the beef it self was tender enough and tasted good. But the rice is too dry, and on my photo, you can see the ratio of the rice and the meat, the rice portion was too little. Overall, tasted good but not good enough to make me wanna reorder it again.
2. Oceanic Paella (4.5 of 5)

It was actually fried basmati rice, topped with bellpepper, chicken, seafood and served on a hotplate. I personally like it. It has a strong smell and strong flavour as jn indian dish. If you like indiand food, you will like this, but if you don't, then don't try to order it, coz you'll be very bothered with the smell.

The server informed me that it is hot and spicy, but it turned out not spicy at all. It smell like it does spicy, but ot doesn't.
3. Dabu dory (4 of 5)

It was fried fish topped with dabu-dabu and served with white rice. The dabu2 topping consist of chili, shallot, onion, tomato, and jalapano(i think? Haha). The topping is very hot. But the fried fish is well seasoned. Taste quite good.
4. Walrus reef pasta (2 of 5)

The sauce tasted too bold and not good. Pasta was not cook perfectly, it still a little undercooked i think.
Overall, food was okay, not so bad, but nothing special either. The good thing is, all the dish have it's own photo on the menu book, so it helps a lot to choose what you want to order. And the real dish, served exactly the same as what we saw in the menu, exactly.

The place is nicely decorated and it is a nice place to hangout with friends.
Will i come back? Yes, maybe i'll pay another visit to this restaurant. :)
