This is my comfort kind of snack. The texture of the pork was quite tender and juicy. It tasted sweet and not so porky. The onion was there to bring more bold sweet flavor and crunchy texture. Without the onion, the pork was gonna be a total boring topping to be honest.

Then the bun. I love it! It's not super fluffy kind of bun. Remember when I post pork bun from Ippu*o? That's what I call super fluffy kind of bun. This one was lil more dense but still quite airy. However, this bun had that slightly crisp texture and it tasted sweet. The sesame on top didn't give much impact, just lil hint of sesame aroma.

If I compare both of them on the bun alone, I'll choose this one. It's dope and so soul satisfying. But the pork was lackluster. So in general, I'll still choose the other one.

Ps : It's a completely different kind of pork bun. I just prefer that one. You can say that I'm quite biased.
