    RoCA Restaurant - Artotel Jakarta [ Menteng, Indonesia,Barat ]

    Recommended!

    RoCA adalah restaurant khusus yang berada di Artotel Thamrin. Dari nama hotelnya pun kita tau, ini merupakan salah satu hotel baru di Jakarta yang punya konsep berbeda dari hotel lainnya, yaitu full Art!. Pertama kali masuk ke hotel ini beda dengan masuk ke hotel lainnya yang ada di Jakarta.


    RoCA Restaurant berada di Ground Floor Hotel ini. jadi begitu kita masuk dari pintu utama, kita bisa langsung lihat dimana letak restaurannya berada.


    Pas banget kesini disaat moment puasa, jadi banyak banget disediain tajil dan dessert yang menggugah selera (pake banget )

    So, let's talk about the food! - This is the recommended dish from RoCA

    Crab Garlic Noodle - IDR 89K
    ini merupakan pasta yang menggunakan kepiting sebagai lauknya. Bumbu garlicnya berasa banget dan untuk kepitingnya crispy banget! Mereka menggunakan kepiting soka yang digoreng menggunakan tepung hingga crispy. Tapi sayangnya untuk pastanya kurang al dente, jadi masih agak keras.

    Nasi Goreng Kemangi Teri - IDR 55K
    Satu kata untuk menu ini, ENDEUUUSSS!! Enak banget nasi nya! Bumbu rempahnya berasa, ikan terinya menambah kenikmatan dari menu ini. Mereka menyajikan nasi goreng ini dengan telur mata sapi, krupuk, sambal, tempe dan juga sayur lalapan.

    Orange Chicken Rice Sweet and Sour Sauce - IDR 42K
    Rasanya ini adalah orange chicken terbaik yang pernah gue makan di Jakarta, disajikan dalam mangkuk seperti Rice Bowl, tapi untuk rasanya, dijamin lebih enak dari pada restaurant rice bowl lainnya. Untuk ukurannya agak kecil sih tapi menurut gue.

    Spicy Turkey Sandwich - IDR 58K
    Sandwich ini disajikan dengan french fries dan salad sebagai side dish nya. Untuk Sandwich nya sendiri, oke banget. Keju mozzarella nya berasa dan cocok dengan daging kalkunnya. Pastinya membuat makanan ini semakin enak.

    Roasted Chicken
    Sepertinya, ini merupakan menu baru dari RoCA. Ayam panggang disajikan dengan potato wedges, salad dan saus merupakan perpaduan yang kece banget!. Merupakan menu favorit gue di RoCA. Ayam panggangnya sangat empuk dan rasa sausnya enak banget. Sayangnya menurut gue saladnya terlalu asam, mungkin terlalu banyak menggunakan vinegar.

    Selain main course di atas, RoCA juga menyajikan dessert seperti Coffee Pannacotta, Strawberry Creme, buah-buahan dan Kue jajanan pasar. (my favourite : Coffee Pannacotta!)

    Untuk tajil nya mereka menyediakan kurma, kerak telur, tempe goreng,dll . Yang ga kalah unik, mereka juga menyediakan Jamu!


    Overall, puas dengan semua makanan yang disediakan oleh RoCA. will be back soon.

    Pipiltin Cocoa [ Panglima Polim, Dessert ]

    Chocolate everywhere

    Akhirnya nyobain juga untuk makan disini setelah sekian lama. Well, tempatnya cozy sebenernya untuk nongkrong sayangnya, kalo kalian rencana untuk lama nongkrong disini, lebih baik jangan. Mungkin karena kemarin pas kesana adalah hari libur jadi kita harus reservasi 3 hari sebelumnya, dan itu juga susah banget untuk di telepon karena mereka hanya punya 1 no telepon dan selalu sibuk.

    Pas nyampe disini, gue diarahin untuk duduk di smoking area, duh sayangnya gue paling ga bisa nyium asap rokok. untungnya salah satu waitress nya ngarahin kita di meja yang sebernya udah di reservasi orang untuk jam 7. (gue sampai jam stgh 5sore)



    Menu yang ditawarkan sebenarnya cukup banyak, sayangnya ada 1 main course yang gue order udah sold out. Akhirnya harus pilih-pilih lagi menunya.

    MAIN COURSE



    Slow Cooked Chicken Roll - IDR 65K

    Tortilla, Chicken cornflakes, Yogurt dressing, Tomato sauce, pickle and mozzarella, serve with french fries.
    Hidangan ini ga beda jauh sebenarnya dengan kebab. Isinya hanya selembar sayuran dan 2 potong daging ayam. Untuk keju mozarella nya ga berasa menurut gue. Kentangnya pun ga garing dan menurut gue ga worth it untuk harga segitu.



    Roasted Chicken Chocolate Sambal - IDR 68K

    Chicken, Spice Rice, Raisin, Crispy Egg, Tomato, Emping
    The idea of this menu is good, sayangnya rasanya kurang pas. Nasinya tidak ada rasanya, hanya wangi dari rempah-rempahnya yang berasa. Dan untuk sambal coklatnya sangat aneh! Gue rasa coklat dan terasi itu bukan kombinasi yang pas. Dan untuk ayam bakarnya sendiri, rasanya hanya ada di luar, tidak meresap ke dalam ayamnya. Cukup kecewa dengan menu ini.



    Tabanan Farm Chocolate - IDR 65K

    Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Caviar, Chocolate Rich Cake, Chocolate Spice cremeaux, Poprock Soil, Dehydrated Chocolate Mousse with Nibs, Chocolate Foam.
    So, this dish is all about Chocolate. The presentation is really good. If you're chocolate addict, you need to add this to your favourite dish of chocolate. Overall the taste is delicious. Worth for the price.



    Another Egg "No" - IDR 65K

    Chili Soil, Passion-Fruit Gel, Mango Selasih, White Chocolate Panna Cotta, Dark Chocolate Shell, Mango Ravioli and cotton candy.
    I love this one, rasa pedas dari chili soil nya berasa banget, unik rasanya, dan cocok dengan asam dari gel markisa yang ada di hidangan ini, Untuk pannacottanya lembut banget, dan cocok dengan mango ravioli yang isinya adalah seperti mango puree. Cukup worth it untuk harganya.



    Overall, puas dengan dessertnya, tapi tidak dengan menu savory nya. Next kalo kesini lagi cuma mau order dessertnya aja. Karena banyak menu sweet yang menggugah selera !

    Tang Yuan [ Tanjung Duren, Dessert ]

    Asian Dessert Heaven


    Tang Yuan Asian Dessert. Cafe baru di kawasan Tanjung Duren yang selalu ramai, terutama weekend.

    Disini menyediakan berbagai macam jenis asian dessert dan juga makanan lainnya. Untuk menu cukup bervariatif dimulai dari makanan kecil sampai makanan berat pun ada.



    Durian Sticky Rice (37k)
    Best of the best from what I order in here! Durian nya manis banget! Bikin makannya pelan-pelan banget supaya ga cepet abis. Disini mereka menggunakan Black Sticky Rice untuk ketannya. Sayangnya untuk tampilannya agak standart sih, tapi bakal order lagi kalo disini. Wajib banget dicoba untuk kalian yang suka makan durian.



    Mini Martabak Gold (25k)
    Red Velvet martabak with nutella and cheese! Numero uno!!


    Flan De Leche / Caramel Puding (17k)
    Pudingnya lembut banget dan punya berbagai macam bentuk yang unik. Tapi buat kalian yang ga terlalu suka manis lebih baik jangan pesen menu ini ya. Manis banget caramelnya ><



    Fresh Milk Bao Bing B (29k)
    Ini sebenernya ga jauh beda dengan asian dessert lain di Mall yang punya banyak topping seperti Grass Jelly, Mochi, pearls, etc. Sayangnya sewaktu di anter ke meja es krim green tea nya udah cair, kemungkinan pelayannya lupa antar, karena saat diminta mereka baru antar ke meja kita.



    Chocolate Drink (25k)
    Rasanya ga terlalu manis, tapi unik karena ada topping marshmallownya diatas.


    Mango Freeze (19k)
    Asam! Banget! haha tapi seger banget minum ini sayangnya di menu di tuliskan 'one free topping included' tapi kenyataannya ga ada toppingnya tuh.

    Overall gue sih bakal balik lagi kesini untuk coba menu lainnya. masih kepingin martabaknya! Dan pasti bakal order lagi Durian Sticky Rice nya :D

    Just Sport [ Kuningan, Kafe ]

    Cafe unik untuk Nobar

    Hello foodies,


    This is my first time to have dinner in here. We choose to try this cafe because it's close with my office. My friends and I used voucher we bought from Groupon. It's just 190k for 4 person.


    Just Sport is a Sport Bar and they have a big screen for the costumer. The ambiance it's good, they have a good service too. But I'm a lil bit disappointed about smoking area. Maybe because they're Sport Bar, so they allow to smoke in indoor and outdoor.

    APPETIZER



    - Garlic Cassava (35k)

    Actually this is just fried cassava with fried garlic as a topping. But it's feel so good. The cassava is very soft and crunchy.



    - Onion Ring (35k)

    Same as a onion ring we found in another restaurant, but in here they serve with bbq sauce. And it's so crispy. I love it. And they have a big size too.



    MAIN COURSE


    - Just Steak (65k)

    Well, the steak it's good. But not the best dish they have. They serve it with fried fries and salad. They add a sesame too in top of the steak.



    - Grilled Chicken Breast (70k)

    This is worst from others . When we see it , maybe it's make us so appetite . But , when I taste it , the chicken is so disappointing . It's smelly . Maybe they not used a fresh ingredient . Same as the steak , they serve this dish with fried fries and salad.



    - Just Beef Burger (75k)
    I think this is the best dish we had. They make the meat burger and it's so good. Even it's still red when I eat it, but it's make the meat juicy. The fried fries is so delicious too.



    So far I quite satisfied to have a great time in here. Will go again? Maybe yes, maybe no. Because I think the price it's a little bit expensive. But I'm satisfied with their service.

    Chung Gi Wa [ Tebet, Korea ]

    Samgyupsal, I'm lovin it

    Chung Gi Wa is one of Best Korean BBQ Restaurant in Jakarta. They have a lot of menu in here. Their Dharmawangsa’s main branch has open for ages, and Kota Kasablanka is their newest branch. Chung Gi Wa has been one of the most popular ones in town.



    Chung Gi Wa in Kota Kasablanka always seems to be crowded everytime I pass by, so I have been craving to eat in here and try their BBQ. My friend is recommended Chung Gi Wa as a The Best Korean BBQ Restaurant in Jakarta. So, I choose to try this one in Kota Kasablanka. Actually, I want to try Chung Gi Wa in Kelapa Gading but finally chose Kota Kasablanka because it’s near my place.



    Finally! I can eat Samgyupsal after craving this food around a month haha!

    We order SAMGYUPSAL (of course!), Bulgogi and Bilneng Myun.

    As in other Korean restaurants, they serving a lot of side dish like kimchi, radish, and the others (I don’t really know for the each name of side dish) for free. And ocha for free too.

    Samgyupsal
    - IDR 87K
    it’s a pork belly! yippie!! I love this one so much! It’s so delicious, but maybe it’s too long grilled so I can’t taste the juicy meat. It’s too dry.

    Bulgogi
    - IDR 87K
    It's Marinated Beef BBQ. They have a really good spice in this meat. I love the taste of it. And the Bulgogi is well cook, better than the samgyupsal.



    Bibimneng Myun
    - IDR 75K
    It's a Spicy Cold Noodle. Can you imagine that? Cold Noodle? haha.. The first time I heard about Cold Noodle, I think it will taste weird, because we usually eat hot noodle. But, when I try this one, I really love it! The Spicy is the best. And in Cung Gi Wa they serve really spicy.



    Maybe because they have a lot of customers so the waitress help us to grilled the meat so it'll be more fast than we grill by ourself.

    I think it's a little bit pricey for the meat because the portion maybe just for 2 people or less.



    For the ambiance it's really feels like "in Korea". I see a lot in Korean Drama for Korean BBQ Restaurant like Chung Gi Wa, and maybe because there are a lot of Korean people eat in there too so I feel really in Korea.

    And one I loved about this place is because they have a good ventilation hood so we don't smell like meat after grilled the meat, and even though there are so much people smoking, I don't smell the smell of cigarettes.

    I'm so happy with this!

    So far I really satisfied to have a great time in here. Will go again? Yes!
