Shoppa Steak

Untuk kedua kalinya makan disini, dan sempat coba menu yang berbeda. Disini modelnya japanese steak, bumbunya juga lengkap. Semua set sudah lengkap dengan butter rice dan sayuran. Untuk porsinya cukup besar dan harganya masih cukup standar.

Tempatnya cukup ramai tapi juga lumayan luas.

Steak lembut dan enak dengan tingga kematangan medium.

bisa refill nasi goreng sepuasanya, dan masih dapat free ice cream mochi.

I have visited Shoppa Steak for at least 5 times at this point, and none of them was ever a disappointment. The food is near perfect, the service rivals that of a 5 star hotel restaurant. Huge emphasis on the service as it is the biggest factor in making me come back for more.

Starting off with the food, I have ordered the "Butcher's Cut", "Signature Cut" and the "Gindara Miso Steak". For the beef selection they provide an option of only Medium and Well Done, but if you would like to request a different doneness like Medium Rare, they would allow it, which is what I did everytime.
And believe me, they did NOT disappoint, the doneness is always on point. Everything about the dish is excellent, from the meat, the rice, the vegetables and especially the egg!
At first I notice there seems to be a lack of aroma (which is strange considering that they have onions) and not as much seasoning as I expect from a steak, but then I realized it's because you're meant to drizzle in the sauces that's inside the fancy bottles. I would highly recommend eating your steak with the Wasabi, unfortunately I find the ones they use to be way too intense. My personal recommendation would be the Signature Cut, since the fat really melts in your mouth and it's significantly softer than the Butcher's Cut, but the Gindara Miso Steak is a must try as well, the fish is extremely soft and tender, and if you are into fishes, definitely give this one a shot.

Now as for the service, I'm not even sure where to begin, I was speechless in my first visit because of how good it was!
First of all, they give you an Oshibori, which is basically a hot towel meant for your face, which is EXTREMELY REFRESHING. The waiters and the waitresses are all super friendly and they WILL put you in a good mood almost instantly. In fact just a few days ago I had an ill-mannered customer who cut my queue as I was going to pay the restaurant bill, usually I would have lectured him at that point, but I didn't, simply because I was in such a good mood after experiencing the outstanding service by the waiters and waitresses. Asides from the friendliness, their honesty is also very admirable. Very often have I dined at a restaurant where I was given the wrong order and none of them seem to care. But here in Shoppa Steak, they even noticed that they gave me a hot ginger tea instead of an iced ginger tea, and they kindly replaced it.

There's not much to say about the ambience, except that it's pretty cozy! The fact that they manage to fit in so many seats in a relatively small space and still make it feel like there's a significant space between you and the other customers is quite a feat in itself. The kitchen utensils are cute, the knife is basically a mini-butcher's knife which is hillariously fitting to the theme of the restaurant. The cleanliness is also quite excellent, the tables are well sanitized, all utensils are already in place before they show you your seat, and they also provide a container filled with hot water for the utensils.

As a bonus, they also give you a free dessert which is a Mochi Ice Cream on a stick, dipped in what I think is a ganache and you have an option to choose the toppings between sprinkles, almond chunks, and caramel sauce (or you can just choose all of them).

Overall, if you happen to come and visit Living World, please, by all means, don't miss out on this one.
