First of all, thank you Perkul for having me again as an Alfa2019!
Came here for #NgumpulPergiKulinerAlfa 2019.
Arrived there almost 12pm and just right after I got seated, I ordered some meals as my friend said the food took long time to be served.

For the place is spacious and cozy! I enjoyed the ambience.

HOWEVER, the service was really s*cks.
They COULD NOT even manage the order from us. They seemed so overwhelmed with the crowd. The food came not in the right sequence, I knew it!
My order finally ready after two and half an hour of waiting and I needed to keep asking my order to the server for so MANY TIMES.

I dont know what this 4 stars hotel is thinking when they accepted this kind of event if they could not even manage the crowd.
Also, I think there was NO quick response and improvement to fix the service flow from the F&B manager throughout the event.

Apart from the bad experience with the service, the food was pretty great. I was having Steak and Pasta for my lunch. The pappardelle had a great texture while the sirloin steak cooked well and quite juicy, but the fat wasn't grilled perfectly.

The other pasta menu were great too, especially the creamy one.
For the pesto pasta, pesto was not fragrant, looked like it lacked of basil. How come you can call it a pesto sauce while you cant even smell the basil?
I tried all pizza menus and tasted not bad, the crust is not too thin and not so crunchy. Not the crunchy typical I know. Topping was generous.

The worst were the appetizer menus and burger! Fried alamari and mozarella stick!! Wayy too greasy and the coating was too thick for calamari and the calamary was not fresh at all!
For the burger, the patty was really tough and dry. You need extra effort to cut the patty. Lol even M*d burger still much better than this.
For the dessert, Tiramisu was just okay. The cake was not smooth, the cream and cake layer were not in good ratio. No tiramisu taste after all. While for Pannacotta, it also tasted okay, but the texture tends to be like pudding.

Well, having such a bad experience would caused your day become bad as well. Thanks, 91st street!
