Came here last saturday because I got an ISMAYA gift card, so I opted to give a shot to SKYE.
Ordered their Lebanese Mezze Platter, Tuna Feuillette, Roasted Chicken, and Double Baked Cheese Souffle. Also a glass of Sangria to accompany the dishes.
Lebanese Mezze Platter : a middle east appetizer platter consist of confit garlic bread served with 4 dipping sauce : Tabouleh, Hummus, Beetroot Goat Cheese, and Babaganoush. All of them taste delicious, even for me that don't really like Hummus. But the hummus here is so good.
Tuna Feuillette : the signature dish in SKYE, thinly sliced fresh tuna served on top of thin crepes, arugula leaf, and truffle aioli. This dish was amazing, the combination of all really made it a memorable dish, really really fragrant and delicious.
Roasted Chicken : for first I thought that roasted chicken will be the usual roasted chicken, nothing special. But I was wrong, this roasted chicken was probably the best I've ever had. The chicken was cooked using brining method, then grilled to perfection. Accompanied with potato gratin and chicken jus. The chicken was really tender and the potato gratin was also amazing. What a perfect dish.
Double Baked Cheese Souffle : usually a souffle is served as a sweet dessert, but here in SKYE the souffle is made savoury as an appetizer. The souffle was creamy and salty at the same time, and the heirloom tomato on the side gave the balance of flavor within the plate.
As a member of ISMAYA, I was given a complimentary Chocolate Dome for the dessert. They used Valrhona Chocolate that gives a bittersweet sensation also served with strawberry sauce which was a great combination.
Overall my experience dining at SKYE was amazing. I've heard the rumor that some of the guest were treated bad during the dining session. But for me, I was well treated like a VIP guest there. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and also I met their head chef, Chef Hamish Lindsay.
